    A lovely place just under the mountains, right on the red...

    A lovely place just under the mountains, right on the red touristic path. I would definitely recommend this destination to anyone who wants to walk in the mountains, search for geocaches, have a nice time by a clear lake or just relax and enjoy the views and food (and beer). :-) Don't forget to bring more money with you though! ;-)

    Everything about Hotel Refugium was exceptional, from the moment I arrived tired from long travels and was immediately offered a cold drink. The room was spacious and well laid out. The view from the balcony over the river and the mountains was very relaxing. Breakfast was great with fresh squeezed orange juice and local foods. This is probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at.

    What a location! Only a few minutes walk to the lake or town and with a perfect bathing area literally opposite the apartment we were able to start the day with an early morning swim. The apartment has everything you need and the garden provides additional space to unwind and enjoy early evening BBQ's too. The area around Lunz am see is breathtaking and a lot of fun to explore.

    We really enjoyed our stay, the surroundings are very nice. The beds are very comfy and the breakfest was fresh and yummy. Will visit and stay again, when going to Lunz am See. Totally recommended!
