This is an excellent hotel! Staff were great especially Jan with his recommendations for ski apps and of course Almdudler! Location close to the ski lift was perfect (2 minute walk). The pool was excellent, and the multiple saunas, great after a day skiing. The room was large, the shower was excellent with a great shower head and there was a bath too but we didn't use it. Although no tea/coffee in the room, you could get tea from the pool area where there was a hot water urn, although thanks to reviews here we took our own travel kettle. We had to get our own milk but there was a fridge in our room. We were half board, the evening meals were of a high quality although perhaps not suited to small children if you have them.

This family-run hotel garni is located in a quiet side street in the centre of Mayrhofen, opposite the Zillertal-Congress Europahaus.

The staff were always super helpful and welcoming, arranging the airport taxi, dinner reservations, and even an early breakfast for our early checkout. The position was great too, everything was walkable, with the ski bus just outside if you prefer.

Amazing spa area. Fantastic staff and service. Slightly weird glass walled shower with no privacy in a 4 bed suite. But otherwise we had great time and would recommend.

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay!** I recently had the pleasure of staying at this excellent hotel, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The location is fantastic—not too far from shops, bars, and restaurants, making it convenient for both families and solo travelers. Despite its proximity to amenities, the hotel is situated in a very quiet area, ensuring a peaceful stay. One of the standout features is the ski bus stop located directly outside the hotel, making it incredibly easy to hit the slopes. The large car park is another bonus for those traveling with a vehicle. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here, as the hotel was immaculate. Every afternoon, I returned to a beautifully clean room, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I'll definitely be returning!

    The ski area has a good range of slopes for novice/intermediates. If you are a total beginner there are better areas to start your skiing adventures. The best slopes in our opinion are a few runs and ski lifts away from the ascent via the Penkenbahn but are so worth it. Ahorn is good for an easy accessible confidence boost run or 2 and has some fun areas for the children. Hintertux glacier is a good day out and free bus available but can be super busy. We flew in to Innsbruck and then took the train to Mayrhofen for the first time and it was super easy and good value.

    This was my 3rd visit to Mayrhofen over the last 20 years...

    This was my 3rd visit to Mayrhofen over the last 20 years and it has grown and the lift access has improved vastly. Had a very relaxing holiday and there are plenty shops and cafes/restaurants to choose from in the evening. There is a Deli across from the Penkan lift that does the most delicious smoked ham sandwich, you know it is good when you see the lines of people there in the evening.

    I've been coming to Mayrhofen for 40 years, both summer and winter. Winter, as much for walking as I have for ski-ing. I've tried other Austrian towns over the years, but this place just hits the spot for a holiday. The town is deceptively large, enabling you to find places to go on a rainy day, but still retains that cosy feel with excellent coffee stops and restaurants. Excellent linked public transport, which allows many adventures. I still haven't travelled along all the side valleys. Views from the top, are simply stunning.

    Mayrhofen is a lovely town, with lots of outdoor-activities to do nearby and lots of restaurants & shops. Mayrhofen is also situated very centrally to other cable car stations, and outdoor activities further away in the valley, for example: Hintertux Glacier is relatively easy to reach by public transport (bus).

    You must try the tasty Käsekrainer from pittoresque place named Steffi‘s Leckerbissen. We enjoyed dinner in natural ambiance at Gasthof Waldcafe and at Cafe-Restaurant Mount Everest. I liked the Thursday concert performed by the local orchestra. Easy to reach any point around Mayrhofen.

    The hotel was exactly how it was described in booking.com. Very clean and friendly helpful staff who were happy to help with directions, local knowledge. A large choice of breakfast options. A good location two minute walk to the ski bus or on the High Street in five minutes. But was in a quiet part of Mayrhofen, but at a restaurant or bar within a five minute walk. Would recommend this hotel.

    Location AAA+ - across the road from the Penkenbahn, next door to the Spar supermarket, access to the spa-pool facilities at Strauss hotel opposite, few doors down from ski school and ski hire, 24 hr reception. What more could you wish for? Great modern facilities, super clean, spacious and lift to the floor with 3 bathrooms and ski locker in the garage.

    The ski bus stop is right outside the hotel. The facilities are brilliant. The staff and owner are amazing. Short walk into the main area of bars and restaurants but there are also bars and restaurants on the way. Plenty of free parking.
