The renovation in this historical villa is very impressive. The original interior is preserved, but it also has all modern features. Elevator, very nice designed rooms, comfortable beds, top bathrooms. Food at the restaurant is nicely presented and tasty. The owners and staff are extremely friendly. I can highly recommend The Bergzauber Villa as a place for vacation at the beautiful mountains of Kalkalpen NP.

Hotel Restaurant DAS RÖSSL is located in a historical building in the center of Windischgarsten. It has a traditional restaurant with characteristic Austrian cuisine, a bar and a wine cellar.

We spent a night in this nice accommodation which has a great restaurant serving tasty dishes with kind and family friendly service. Our room was clean,comfortable and quiet. Plus point for the water tap that gives fresh water for the guests.

    Nice small town, close to mountains so you can quickly go hiking or skiing or whatever you prefer. There is Aldo where you can buy food and a few restaurants. Not many of them were open during our stay though so we ended up buying pizza to go.

    I was here for one night on 5th October.

    I was here for one night on 5th October. The town was dead but I have no doubt this is a wonderful place to stay in the summer for a walking or cycling holiday. In the evening there was only one restaurant open,Gasthof Gruber which was excellent. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was closed but as the town represented the Marie Celeste this was not surprising. Midweek in October is not a good time to come!

    Our summer trip to Wurzeralm was amazing.

    Our summer trip to Wurzeralm was amazing. We took the Wurzeralm cable car and then the Frauenkar so we could get quite easily to the Ramesch peak (2119 m) even with kids. The lifts were free of charge with the pyhrn-priel AktivCard that we got from our accommodation provider.

    everything especially the owner Amelia. she was so kind. we have stayed only one night. we wished to have more days in this lovely place. it is a must to come back here. beds are not small (as stated in a few rewiev) and there are spare blankets. bathroom is very comfortable and well decorated as if a part of five star hotel. garden just nearby a river is breathtaking. highly recomended for families with kids

    The hotel is like something from a fairy tale - an old building next to the church, which is surrounded by mountains. Thanks to the thick walls of the hotel, it seems that there is no one else next to you, we had a great sleep in silence. Very tasty and high-quality breakfast. The staff is friendly.

    Visited this hotel summer 2023. Absolute great location on top of a hill with a terrific view on the mountains. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. A lot of space in the apartments. We could also do a later check-out. We would definitely recommend it.
