It was dirty, needed a good clean, there were marks on doors and walls, blue tac stuck on the wall, window was broken, curtains were filthy, there were holes in the ceiling and walls. Bed was firm but you could feel the springs, the wall lights didn't work, neither did the exhaust fan. On a lighter note it was in a convenient location. Overpriced for what it was.

Location was close to everything we needed. Room was comfy. Staff were very friendly. Meals were excellent would highly recommend dinning here for any reason. The hotel had a great feel to it, very friendly and inviting. Manager had great knowledge of the history attached to the building. The locals made us feel welcome as well.

Our hosts were excellent company and provided great information about local area and surrounds for exploring.The property and gardens were very pretty and all facilites and breakfast were of a superb standard.There was a thoughtful cup of tea on arrival. All in all a very happy, family homestay to be thoroughly recommended.
