Binalong Bay – 51 hotels and places to stay

Bay of Fires Bush Retreat in Binalong Bay provides accommodations with a garden, a terrace, and a bar.

Beautiful setting and design. Just a wonderful relaxing ambiance, fire pits, good choice of seating areas in the common eating area, fantastic playlist of mellow music adding to the atmosphere. Good base for then exploring Bay of Fires area. The breakfasts ordered were so well done, lovely array of food presented on a board. Thank you — staying here was a special Tasmanian experience.

BAY OF FIRES ECO HUT off grid experience at Binalong Bay offers accommodations in Binalong Bay, a 4-minute walk from Binalong Bay beach.

Great location, close to beach, roomy, clean, pot belly kept us warm, outside shower was great with plenty of hot water. Do not be put off by having an outdoor shower. Quite & secluded with kangaroos, rabbits and lots of birds. Definitely would recommend a stay here.

Binalong Bay is a quiet area with stunning beach views.

Binalong Bay is a quiet area with stunning beach views. Its sand is soft and white and the water is a beautiful aqua colour. The Bay only has one restaurant (serving Pizzas) and would benefit greatly with a cafe and general store. It is a perfect place to unwind.

Such appealing scenery. Every photo a winner!

Such appealing scenery. Every photo a winner! The red lichen against the blue sky and pristine blue water, with yellow grasses in the foreground … unique area of Tasmania. We chose to stay in a BnB and eat on site. St Helens is the place to pick up supplies and then collect your fresh oysters on the way to Binalong Bay.

Beautiful location. Amazing views and beaches Only negative was that there No phone service anywhere on the area from St Helen’s to binalong bay. No where to eat on binalong bay. Only meresta which was bit disappointing after having read amazing reviews. I suggest u either eat in at Helen’s or pick up supplies

The location of this cute beach house, has views of the sea right from the front deck. Carport is at the back of the house, secure. The ability to just walk across the road, onto the beach and walk to all those amazing rock formations know as "bay of fires" was enough to want to stay longer! There is only one restaurant in this area, and it is next door! Groceries, retail and other restaurants are a mere 10K away in St Helens, so stock up and relax !

Binalong Bay is a small holiday place which lots of folk visit however there are no shops. We visited there because we could be self sufficient and shopped accordingly in St Helens before travelling to Binalong.

We drove to Bay of Fires and a local winery (Priory Wines - bought their Pinot Noir). Dinner at Parkside Bar and Kitchen, brunch at The Lifebuoy Cafe, Party at The Social, Karaoke Bar (Kazzbar) in St Helens. No complaints about the food or the atmosphere. On the last night pizzas from "Meresta" in Binalong. Very nice. Shopped in most of the gift shops and the markets. Friendly staff everywhere. Blessed with the best weather.
