Cloncurry had a nice feel to it, and a lot more to do than the short amount of time we had allocated. We used it as a stopover between Winton and the Northern Territory not expecting to find much to do. In hindsight, two nights would have been great. We ate at the Post Office Hotel - although the atmosphere was basic, the food was fantastic, and they were able to cater to a coeliac - one of the few restaurants on our road trip that had gluten free chips cooked in a separate fryer! Nearly made my 12yo son cry with happiness :). Would give the premix cocktail a miss though and stick to the on-tap beersGuest review byKinmarAustralia
