Great beach life, very friendly locals. Super dog friendly area. Fantastic restaurant and cafes. Lots of gluten free options. Lady Copa might be one of the best Italian restaurants. Avoca beach and near by small township are less than 10 minutes drive.

The beaches are perfect and dog friendly.
The beaches are perfect and dog friendly. There were some great walking tracks and the home was central and only a short car ride to all the places we wanted to go to. Avoca Bowling Club was excellent with great meals and atmosphere

Copacabana is the typical Central Coast seaside village.
Copacabana is the typical Central Coast seaside village. The beach walk is a good one and if you enjoy the sound of the ocean as you go to sleep, then Copa will be good for you!
It has the basic shopping services with more varied offerings to be found at nearby Avoca Beach, Terrigal, Kinkumber and Erina Fair Shopping Centres.
Much of the Central Coast is available by car in an hour or so. Recommend inland Morphet and all areas around Brisbane Waters.

Copacabana is a beautiful little coastal town with lots of hidden jems. Burnt honey bakery had delicious pastries for breakfast, well worth the line up. A sit down breaky/lunch is also a must at Cabana cafe is also a must, really affordable and delicious food with a view of the water.
The ocean as Copacabana was a little rough, but it is only a 5 minute drive to Avoca beach and 20 minutes from Terrigal so wasn't a big deal. It was actually preferred, as Copacabana is much quieter and more affordable! Looking forward to when we can visit again.

Copacabana itself was fantastic - the accommodation at Copacabana Shores left much to be desired. Location was good but too many things were wrong - dishwasher didn’t work; safe didn’t work; not enough crockery & what there was didn’t fit in the dishwasher; spa bath had a number of broken jets.
Our favourite restaurant in Copacabana was the Ocean Bar Cantina - great food & friendly service. Beautiful beaches & spectacular lookouts. The Copacabana Lagoon and lake was also lovely.

Copacabana is a quirky town set by the surf
Copacabana is a quirky town set by the surf
It has a small village which caters for most needs
The pizza restaurant served high quality pizzas that were accompanied by olives and an interesting selection of beer or wine
You had the option of sitting outside in the cool , breezy area
Full of children eating their favourite pizzas or lasagnes
The cafe next to stone real estate store served the best avocado with poached eggs and tomato on sourdough that I have had for a while
I was even given a mango slice one day and 2 caramel slices another whilst waiting for breakfast to be made
The locals were friendly and went out of their way to make Sydneysiders welcome

Staff lovely and helpfully. Unfortunately the place goes downhill from there.
Clean, but needs a big update. One of the showers leaked onto the stair carpet. Bathroom doors were sliding but did not slide. We were struggling to open and close. Kids were always stuck! No Usb ports as an older build so bring an adapter.
The location is great for the beach, just not a great outlook from the back of the building.
Loved Copacabana beach, but would stay elsewhere if return.
We were visiting relatives who lived nearby which is why we chose Copacabana Shores. They didn’t even know it was just down the road so were interested to see the facilities for future guests. Great location so near to Copacabana beach which we took advantage of and it has its own pool. Our room had three beds and a balcony and had kitchen area / fridge so we could have prepared food.
Self catering. Great SLS Cafe during day , eating options a little restricted at Copacabana area in evening but it was Easter so I went to Avoca
More of a surfers beach but there is a rock pool for the less adventurous
