Lots of meal choices from multiple pubs and restaurants. A pleasant main shopping street, but this is very busy with large vehicles coming through at all times. The bathroom was not great.

At Gawler specifically for BMX Championships - so the proximity of the track to the venue was a key decider. Lovely little town, very pretty, good amenities and a number of venues for eating if you are not feeling like cooking on your trip! Close to wineries if that is your bent!
