Woodroffe Hotel is located in Southport on the beautiful Gold Coast. It offers convenient access to public transport, parklands, theme parks and is only 2.4 mi to Surfers Paradise.

I couldn't make it the Tuesday, the first night I booked because im going through FDV - Family Domestic Violence with my son. I rang to explain what I was going through and explain I couldn't make it but I did not get a refund or offered another night. When I arrived on the Wednesday I arrived late at 10pm because I had no way of escaping the violence. The room they gave me, room 410 was wet and smelt like a wet dog had been living in there. I understand Cyclone Alfred had recently been through the coast but you don't offer a room like that. Id been doing it rough and was looking forward to a shower and clean sheets. I have Bakers Cyst that have ruptured in my knees, both knees and I struggle to walk. While it was fairly close it was not close enough and I am in agony. I.stayed in room 606, it was better than room 410 but I won't be going back again.

we had a great 5 days. our last day was raining but it was still great fun as we did more exploring the area using the light rail which was very convenient to use. the 50 cents gocard fare on public transport is very nice.

    Weather was just right.

Weather was just right. It was right after the cyclone Alfred. But Gold Coast cleaned up very well. Even the beach rehab was already being done so people can access it properly. We've been to God coast many times. We didn't do theme parks or go anywhere else this time. But just relaxed, walked on the beach and enjoyed different cuisines.

So much to see and do on the Gold Coast.

So much to see and do on the Gold Coast. I visit at least 3 to 4 times per year for adventures with my nieces and we always find new things to do! This time it was Ripleys Believe it or Not, plus Dreamworld… what a wonderful weekend with everything from many and varied food choices to a complete range of entertainment… it never disappoints.

The view from our unit on the 15th floor was amazing. Sweeping views of the coastline up to Surfers Paradise and down to Burleigh Heads Pavillion. The apartment was very clean, modern and had everything we needed for our stay. The cost of accommodation on the Gold Coast has increased significantly since covid. The rates at many highrise apartments per night are nearly double what they were 3 years ago. Southern Cross have managed to keep their rates within affordable reach compared to others. This was a game changer for our family!

Nice typical older fashion accommodation at broadbeach. Best suburb of gold coast, and this hotel is almost on the beach. 30 seconds to access the beach/park/running , and also a few minutes from broadeach center, shops and restaurants, 15mn walk to pacific fair. Personnel at reception absolutely perfect

Perfect family friendly hotel, with spacious apartments and three pools to spend hours in. Location of the hotel was also great, just a short stroll to the beach and shops. Views of the beach were stunning. Hotel staff and reception were really helpful and full of suggestions as requested.

very good value, big apartment for a cheap price in surfers paradise. the location is perfect. it is on a busy street with restaurant and bars, noise is acceptable, more like a cozy home than a luxury hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. easy access to anywhere
