Redgate Country Cottages is offering accommodations in Moffatdale. The property provides free private parking. Guests can enjoy mountain views.

Individual cabins with no adjoining walls. Each cabin had its own undercover parking. Extremely quiet, perfect. Bed was comfy with a warm quilt. Also had AC. Looking at sunsets at night from little verandah was beautiful.

Located in Wondai, Sawmill Hotel Motel has a restaurant, bar, casino, and free WiFi throughout the property. The motel features family rooms.

Receptionist (in the hotel) was pleasant but neglected to inform us that their restaurant was closing early that evening! Ugh! Meant we had to go out (in POURING rain) to find an eatery. No bench space at all in the room. It's a good sized room but needs something you can put your gear on! We are too old to be sorting belongings on the floor. And there is no m'wave (which is my fault as I just assumed all accommodation has that now).

Although it appears to be at the intersection of a busy series of roads, Goomeri is a pretty village with several popular and well presented cafes and a variety of small businesses. It is close to Boathouse Mountain Conservation Park and Kimbombi Falls and directly on the KKRT (Kingaroy to Kilkivan Rail Trail).
