Boasting a prime location in the heart of the beautiful Tamar Valley wine region, Tamar Valley Resort Grindelwald features charming chalets and a wealth of leisure activities.

The overall area is nice but it is definitely past its prime. There are a lot of cottages, a hotel, a restaurant, some play areas for the children, and a few boutiques. We stayed in a hotel room and that was a mistake. The carpet is good knows how old and everything just had an old smell. I had booked the room because our original plan got sidelined due to luggage delays. Luckily we just stayed one night.

Featuring a garden, Ou+look BnB offers accommodations in Rosevears. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi. Outdoor seating is also available at the apartment.

Always clean comfortable and we have stayed with them many times over the last few years for work and for relaxation when catching up with family locally. The whole location is quiet and generally peaceful, with beautiful views close by. We recommend the Outlook as a place to stay both for work and for a short break. The hosts are friendly helpful and accommodating and we always appreciate our stay there. *If you have difficulty with mobility the shower over the bath might be your only challenge. As the step could feel wide and high. They do have a grab rail built in too.

Offering a variety of spacious accommodations options and free WiFi, Balmoral On York is located just 328 feet from Launceston's CBD and a short walk from vibrant restaurants and bars.

We arrived early and the folks were happy to let us park. The room we had on the front had been recently renovated. Great layout and surfaces for organizing stuff. A+

Located outside Launceston city center, Olde Tudor Hotel offers modern accommodations with award-winning gaming facilities including Tas Keno and Tote. It is a 5-minute walk to the Silverdome.

Room was 'cosy', but having stayed previously was aware of that. Location is on the outskirts of town but that suited us fine. Have their own bistro which is convenient and the food was good. Off street parking in front of the room was a bonus.

Overrated - Minimal Facilities. OK for an afternoon visit, nothing more. Handful of shops and a couple of activities. OK for a base to explore the area but not to stay at for long without going elsewhere for things to do. Plenty of Vineyards in the area :-)

Wasn't a bad stay although the weather was awful and created lots of mud out the front door. few birds and geese droppings around the facility. Rooms needed a little attention, paint and holes in walls . No shower screen or curtain around spa was annoying, rooms was a decent size though. WiFi was not good and service was bad aswel but they did have a national outage so that might of contributed. Meals and breakfast was lovely, We all enjoyed the pool, was lots of ppl but it was okay. maybe a sign on the spa could help share it a bit better. 15mins each or something... Gift shops was really well stocked .. Location was a little out of the way but as long as you have a car it's no big deal... And would of loved some fresh towels the next morning via room service,- but instead had to go ask via reception.. But in all If these things can be fixed I would rate it 100% satisfied... But atm I'll say 75% . So it's a pass .. Oh and the staff on reception and in the bistro was lovely

The property has a lot of potential but has been severely neglected. The ponds and the immediate area around the bistro is nice but that’s about it! The rooms are run down, the food in the bistro was way overpriced and terrible. The spa in our room was broken and sprayed water completely out of the bath up the walls and out the door onto the bed. The door to our cabin was hard to open and close also. The furniture in the rooms is very cheap and the beds are terribly uncomfortable.

    Pool too small.

Pool too small. Children in the pool were allowed to do what they wanted by parents. On the second day there the pool area was dirty plus I found something disgusting in the spa. Not enough paddle boats, and they are only available between 9-10, which we were not told about at the time of booking. My husband and I both had chicken parma for tea and spent most of the evening on the toilet. The meal, while filing was tasteless, the chips with it were unpleasant and the salad, which was just coleslaw wasn't enjoyable. Could only watch normal tv in the room, Netflix, Disney and stan were unavailable unless you had an account. Couldn't watch any movies. My wifi worked on my phone but my husband's didn't. While it was easy to move around, and Grindelwald and the bakery and ice cream was nice. Also enjoyed the mini golf. We chose this location as we live locally, but I wished we hadn't bothered. I will not be staying there again nor would I recommend it .

The bed was so comfy. The view off the patio was stunning.

The bed was so comfy. The view off the patio was stunning. The TV doesn't receive antenna reception on most channels even with a scan unfortunately. The fridge didn't work and wasn't cold. Hair in the plug hole of the spa. The activities that grindlewald have to offer are amazing. No pots or pans or stove to cook in.

Place is run down but still had lots of fun activities for families which is nice. Staff were lovely also and the pool, sauna and spa great. Our room was chosen for the spa bath for the kids and it didn't work. We were told we didn't press the buttons properly which is ridiculous. Then the DVD player didn't work, the kids were really upset as it was late. The kids stayed on the fold out couch, which i cant believe they charge for. It was extremely uncomfortable. I would rather be told they cant accommdate us then be charged and given that. Overall our room was clean but whole place run down and over priced. Even the steak we ordered was expensive and over cooked. When we told staff they just apologised but did nothing. Won't be going here again.
