Great facilities, nice and clean and far enough off the Main Street to be quiet. However it’s only a 1 minute walk from the front door to the Main Street of Hahndorf

Fantastic location, comfortable, clean, room was perfect. Only problem is couldn’t get parked in the carpark, wasn’t the best carpark either but that’s my own minor complaint.

This is a lovely hotel in a vibrant little town. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. We had meal in the bistro each night and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

The absolute beauty and tranquility was breathtaking.
A lovely little village. It's good to stay over to really enjoy the vibe - but beware - a lot of the shops don't open until 10:30 or 11am as they wait for the tour groups to arrive.
DO visit the Cedars and take a tour of Hans Heysen's house - very interesting.

As this trip was not a sight seeing trip I did not get to see the whole town, but what i did see was very charming and would be a great place to spend a relaxing week away, dining and wining the days away. With a walk or two through the town looking at all the quaint shops.

Hahndorf is beautiful, we used it as a base and travelled around the area, caught the bus to Adelaide went to Monarto Safari Park which was great. The best restaurant we went to was "Wok The Duck" in Mt Barker. So well worth the stay.

I had a lovely platter and glass of wine at Somerled in the main street of Hahndorf where Karen was very attentive. I enjoyed a very good breakfast and coffee at Cafe Assiette, which is open at 7.30am each morning. There is a great gallery and shop at Hahndorf Academy, plus many other unique gift, food and homewares shops in the main street.

Hahndorf is gorgeous.
Hahndorf is gorgeous. Not only is it physically beautiful, it just oozes history. There are so many things to see (HIGHLY recommend Sharon's walking tour BTW) and do...plenty of great food outlets, many with an appropriately Germanic character. Be cautious...there are some tourist traps, but they do not diminish from the experience. Overall I would highly recommend a visit to Hahndorf, and spend at least three days there

We had an amazing stay at Discovery Parks – Hahndorf! The location is perfect—just a short stroll to the charming main street, yet the park itself feels peaceful and surrounded by nature.
The cabins were spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The park has fantastic facilities, and beautifully maintained gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed.
Where the property is situated in the town of Hahndorf. It was quiet even though there was much going on in Hahndorf that weekend. The property was beautifully presented with personal touches throughout which was much appreciated. Could not fault anything about our stay.
Central location and a hidden gem in the Main Street of Hahndorf. Off street parking, easy check in with fantastic times available. Clean and comfortable for our family stay. Lots of dining options a hop skip and a jump away. Will stay again!
Excellent location. Right on the main road at Hahndorf and a 2 minute walk to the German Arms.
Lovely and clean little motel that feels like a German cottage village.
King size bed was very comfy!
