Very good really enjoyed it. Lacked enough chairs around the pool and bringing chocolates at night was weird. Staff were amazing.

Location is beautiful. Pool is great! Family friendly. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Love the laidback feel of the resort. The whole island is open for guests to explore. Reef is a great bonus.

The haven view is an intimate, well-appointed place with a magnificent view in a peaceful haven. You have your cockatoo friends but otherwise no disturbance.
A perfect place for a couple.
What's more, there are little touches like cereals, cakes, milk, coffee and tea, which are really top-notch! Thank you for everything 😊

We love Hamilton Island and stay as often as we can, this was our 8th stay. We really enjoyed the cocktails and antipasto platter at the bar on One tree hill. We also really enjoyed the pizzas at the pizza restaurant. We love that there is an IGA, so we could shop and cook some of our meals at the apartment.

Great Resort in a great location. Perfect for a weekend away! Wallabies just outside our room.
Liked · Everything was great! Room was well eqiupped and bed was super comfy. Beach just outside our front door and wet edge pool was beautiful. Great breakfast and coffee. Would highly recommend the AVT off road tour. Tommy was excellent! The Clubhouse Restaurant at the Golf Course was next level incredible and view was stunning!

We stayed 4 nights at the Lagoon Apartments which was great but could have done with another couple of nights just to enjoy more of what it has to offer.
The scenery, tranquility and wildlife were terrific. The island is so picturesque, the views are fabulous. The weather was a lovely average of 28 degrees and humid. Everyday was perfect for a swim at the beach and pools and the water temperature was just right.
Water & land activities were great. We played mini golf, table tennis, snorkelled, kayaked and stand up paddle boarded. The Wildlife Park was very enjoyable and the pools were the best. Loved the Main, Sails and Bougainvillea pools as well as our private pool.
The atmosphere all around was fantastic. We enjoyed the live entertainment and food & drink spots the place has to offer around the Marina. We dined at the Pizzeria & Gelato, Marina Tavern, Ice Cream Parlour, One Tree Hill and also enjoyed a BBQ on our balcony.
It was so easy and so much fun to get around too by buggy and the free shuttle buses were also very convenient and good for sightseeing.
We also enjoyed browsing the shops and bought some nice souvenirs, magnet, bookmark and cap.
It is a holiday we’ll never forget and hope to have again!

Hamilton Island is a very niche place to visit with magnificent facilities and first rate accommodation, restaurants and activities.
The only downside is that it is a bit pricey but you know that before you visit but it is worth the time spent in such a secluded, safe and happy environment.

Busy and everything needed to be booked.
Busy and everything needed to be booked. Everything and everyone were wonderful, enjoyed some delicious meals in beautiful settings. Everywhere you looked was a feast to the eyes and the ease of flying in and out was a bonus. Monterey and Qualia were great, half day trip swimming at chalky and Whitehaven beaches was highlight.

The island is lovely could do with more and better casual dining and being of Italian heritage we take our coffee seriously! Which was lacking in quality on island , we expected supplies and dining to be expensive which it was , the bakery does offer probably the best good easy options for basic eating 👍🏻
We dined at Thai and the Italian (Romanos ) both nice but quality of dishes could have been better , staff were polite / friendly .
We walked a lot and made use of the buggies
Half of the family did a 4hr trip to Hayman for snorkeling and enjoyed immensely 😀

The view from the apartments is lovely - classic Whitsundays. You can only glimpse the sunset from here but the daytime view is lovely. The resort pool is pretty good but even better is the public pool next to the beach below the apartments - or the sea at high tide. There are only a few places to eat very nearby but the shops are only a 10 minute walk away and there is also a free public shuttle that comes every 15 minutes. The apartments themselves are very clean and comfortable, with full kitchens.
Unfortunately we had rain on both days of our visit to Hamilton Island and found the location too far away from restaurants down at the Marina and over the other side where the Resort Centre was. Our buggy had no plastic covering and seemed old as the key kept slipping out. We got very wet. On the positive side the apartment was very spacious and well equipped and had a very leafy outlook and water glimpses.
I am sure Hamilton Island is beautiful, but unfortunately it rained heavily for my 3 day stay and I focused my attention on the hotel and amenities rather than the beauty around.
