Absolutely worthy weekend away! The couple who owned the property were so fantastic. The owner also took us up to the lookout and water holes around the farm with the 4 wheel buggy! They were trying their best to find activities for us to do while we are staying.It was one of the highlights of the whole stay. So many lovely animals too.

Gorgeous property! We hope to come back with family and spend more time. We appreciated the eco friendly option to forego room cleaning for a free drink. Pricing may seem on the higher side but when you realise how remote the retreat it is, it is very reasonable. There are plenty of food and activity options so we didn’t have to leave the site during our stay (nor did we want to!) The staff were all delightful.
We enjoyed the glow-worm tour and Moran’s walk and will return to do the stargazing and explore further. It was too cloudy and rainy on the evening of our stargazing tour for it to go ahead. We appreciated the tour guide’s decision to cancel the stargazing tour rather than take us on a potentially rainy tour where we could hardly see anything. This reflected their honesty and genuine eagerness to ensure a great experience for all guests.

The property was absolutely stunning and the extra amenities like the bathtub, BBQ, and movie projector were a nice touch. The location was super beautiful, there were some amazing waterfalls nearby that my partner and I visited. The room itself has a great kitchen setup with enough stuff to make a full meal. The mini fridge was filled with fresh strawberries and peaches and the owner even made us some pasta for dinner. Would definitely stay here again!

One of the best farm stays that we have ever had. The hosts are amazing. The house is very clean with fine detailed touches - it is easy to tell that the hosts put their hearts and efforts into making this stay a very comfortable one. The animals were very friendly as well. Our whole family enjoyed our 3-night stay here at Doomben Ridge.
We self catered so didn't eat at the restaurant. The food looked really great and there were freshly baked treats available. There is a 4WD park nearby for 4WD adventures. A beautiful creek to relax in with lots of birds flying around.
