Such a beautiful area.
Such a beautiful area. Very busy too but we still enjoyed it and we had the perfect location. Nice and close to the beach which was amazing! A number of cafes close by to choose from and shops and markets just up the road also. I think the Sunshine Coast and Maroochydore would be ideal for a short visit in either autumn or winter. It's a bit too hot and humid for my liking in summer. We loved the River and the easy access to buses to places.It has a peaceful vibe every where we traveled in and around Maroochydore. . So much for all ages to do or just relax by the river or beach and do nothing. We will definitely return.lovely place to retire or holiday. The wharf at mooloolaba is so nice .The aqua Duck was fun .Also just relaxing by the river at chambers island was lovely. We had a delicious dinner at Yum cha in sunshine plaza. I found Cotton Trees to be a true local village with all staff from every retail outlet so friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble and no need to go anywhere else , apart from a doctor, for anything you may need. I love it as it has everything you need to have a great holiday, never the same, you and your family won't be bored; there are activities for all ages and abilities; at the beach you can try surfing, sunset cruises, kayaking, sailing etc. at the city you can find a huge variety of bars, restaurants, coffees and shopping around, too many to choose!. Our original room wasn’t available due to a broken hot water system however we were very well looked after. It is within easy walking distance to the Maroochydore CBD with a lot of nice cafes nearby. Apartments are always lovely and clean and I found the beds very comfortable.
