The towels and linen were fresh and clean, and rooms were easy to find. Check-in was speedy and straightforward. On-site parking was really great. The location was great and there was a local pizzeria which delivered straight to the rooms, which was amazing.

Fantastic accommodation. The host, Belinda, was excellent. We took our two dogs. It also had a great kitchen and bathroom. Nighttime was so peaceful. We loved our stay. I highly recommend this little gem of a place. Thank you, Belinda, for making us feel so welcome.

It is a pretty town, not far from Bateman's Bay. The river is lovely, & there are plenty of green spòts to unwind
There are pubs in which to have dinner, cafes & restaurnts.
We had a good look at the Eurobodalla Agriculural Show, 5 minutes walk from our motel.

We have stayed previously in river front rooms which were basic but fine. However the room they offered us was far below any accommodation I have stayed in,. We stay in many basic hotel in China but never as bad as this room. They have also invoiced us for the $ 160 which has already been paid

Moruya is a great staging point for adventures in the local area. It has two major supermarkets which will stock most of what you need. There a couple of restaurants, or you can try the pub fare which is also great value for money (portion sizes are large), but get in early on a weekend as the venues pack out after 6pm. Head to the Quantum Brewery, about 1km to the west of the main street, to try some great local beers in what used to be the Moruya cheese factory. Drive 10 minutes east to Moruya Heads for a breathtaking view of the bay looking North to Broulee. Alternatively, drive 10 mins out toward Moruya airport where a walk along the breakwater will provide with a different, but equally gorgeous, perspective.

We travelled for the races.
We travelled for the races. The closest hotel to th racecourse where we met up with friends had run out of food at 7.15 pm. The manager was rude when asked what food was available. By 10.30 pm the town was a ghost town.
Could not find an open cafe at 8.45 am on a Saturday morning. The service station does a great egg & bacon roll
Lack of services for visitors

The room I was assigned in did not have enough sound proofing, it was noisy. The air freshner was strong, I turned it off and I opened the window for a long time. The check in instructions were easy to follow.

The cabin was accommodating for our family sleep wise.
The cabin was accommodating for our family sleep wise. The floor in cabin was extremely dirty and oily we had to wear socks walking around to avoid black feet. The shower was extremely hard to get into as you had to climb into the spa bath tub and there were no hand rails to assist you with this. There wasn't enough cooling in the cabin 1 fan and 1 small air-conditioner which had difficulties with the 38 degree heat. The porch needs a gate at top of stairs to make safer for smaller children. TV needs updating or chrome cast abilities. The roads around the park need fixing huge amount of pot holes.
My family loved the residential possums that came and ate fruit from their hands and that sat with us on porch.

Excellent service from Charmaine and Mark. I arrived early and Charmaine kindly organised the room for me and on the ground floor so I could park my car outside. She went above and beyond in friendliness and service during my stay. The property is newly refurbished and a very high standard of accommodation. I cannot recommend Hive Hotel enough and will definitely return if my travels bring me to Moruya in the future Thank you.
The host, Esther, was very helpful and friendly. The one-br unit had complete cooking facilities, all the conveniences for cooking and cleaning and light and bright. We had a lovely view on the balcony of the farm and glorious sunsets. My husband is disabled but found this accommodation very accessible. An easy drive into Moruya
Very nice property with large rooms & balcony with great views. Safe stay & super quiet and calm. Great for solo travelers too.
It’s only 5 minutes away from the Moruya town where you get everything you’d basically need.
The staff were very polite and courtious, food at the hotel was very nice and plentiful. Very quite most of the time. Quilts on the bed were very cosy.
