Location worked perfectly for us. Close to shops and eating out places.
The Receptionist was kind enough to let us leave a car there until 2pm on our check-out day while we went for lunch. Much appreciated.
Good follow-up on the dropped rashie - not ours but good follow-up by staff.
Thanks. We'll be back!

Location of the property was both convenient and beautiful, as it is within a forested and landscaped area and within a block of the beach. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment, its amenities, the responsiveness of the host when we had a problem with the internet/wifi, and the secure parking.

The area is a peninsula with suburbs a short drive from each other and on either side a National park. So the area is not built out or over crowded and there are many beaches and boat tours that you can consider.

Concierge/receptionist was just the most lovely and attentive person. I simply could not fault. Bubs seafood was the best value for money dining destination. Bowling club was best value for drinks and Sunday afternoon music.

A small town with a pleasure boat harbour, harbourside restaurants and good shops. Very nice beaches nearby onto the bay (we spotted some dolphins just off one beach) and easy drive (or walk) to get to beaches onto the ocean for a bit of surf.

There is plenty to do in Nelson Bay and the surrounding countryside.
From sightseeing the area by car or on the water, to the various shops, cafes and clubs. The view and food at the Nelson Bay Bowling Club was excellent.

So many things to do and see in the Nelson Bay area.
So many things to do and see in the Nelson Bay area. Beautiful beaches, many different tours to choose from so you can see the dolphins, feed the rays and sharks or go whale watching in the right season. Many places to eat out if you so choose. Salamander Bay shopping centre has a large variety of shops. Great place for anyone, especially families.

The main downside to Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay etc.. is that all parking is paid parking. if you are travelling by car and want a coffee, you must pay to park first.. If you want to go out for a meal, pay for parking.. literally everywhere.. worse than Sydney CBD.

Fantastic motel! Rooms exceptionally clean with very comfy beds and linen. Rooms appear to have been recently decorated with a nice touch. Very helpful staff that even lent me a phone charger when I'd forgotten mine. Parked right in front of the room and motel perfectly positioned within walking distance of both shoal bay and Nelson bay.
Reasonably big (Family) room. Location is fantastic - easy walking distance to the Nelson Bay town centre and the marina. Contact-free check in-/out means a fast and efficient process. Only ground floor rooms so easy access. The swimming pool is clean and refreshing.
Location. I have been to Nelson Bay quite a few time's and have always wanted to stay in these apartments. It is definitely a great location down one level n you are in the central part of town. Parking is great you can come and go as you please.
Close to beach plus had a pool. For us there were toys and games for children in the unit which was great. Very suitable for a family. Nice walks and situated about mid way between Nelson bay and shoal bay
