Devils Lair is a beautiful cozy cabin; the perfect place to relax by the fire or on the deck, stargaze and even catch a glimpse of the southern aurora.
The croissants in the fridge that were ready to be baked fresh each morning were such a lovely touch. It was a little slice of heaven and I could have stayed for much longer than 2 nights.
Short distance from Port Arthur historic site.

The location, and serenity!
Loved the clean bright space, loved the wood heater, loved the soaps and shampoo, loved the croissants to bake for breakfast.

We probably should have listened to the tour guides and got a lot more out of our visit but we enjoyed just going around on our speedy schedule.
I enjoyed the Spotify talks and found them informative. I would have liked more of them.
The boat trip was very good.

Port Arthur is a terrific place to visit!!!
Port Arthur is a terrific place to visit!!! There is lots to see and do here. The Port Arthur Historic Site is fantastic. We took a guided tour of the site before we started looking around. Our tour guide was exceptional and really knew her stuff. The cruise around Carnarvon Bay which is included in the price was also great. The site is not the only attraction at Port Arthur. There are also a number of geographical features on the peninsula that are worth a look (e.g. Remarkable Cave, Tasman Arch, Devil's Kitchen). The Tasmanian Devil Unzoo at Taranna should not be overlooked either!

A beautiful setting, carefully honouring the tragedies of past and recent times. The cafe is so much more than that - staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful with directions, and the 'story-tellers' of PA's history was absolutely charming and spot-on with their delivery and facts.

Day 1 was at Port Arthur. It's beautiful but sobering. A must do.
Day 2 Tasman Island cruise. Brilliant. We saw whales (out of season), seals and tons of dolphins and seabirds. The boat trip was fun and the scenery spectacular. A must, must, must do.

The Port Arthur Motor Inn is located right next to the historic site - just a quick walk through a gate accessed by your room key, and on the same road as Remarkable Cave. Tasman Park, the Cape Huay Walking Track, Tessellated Stones, Blow Hole, Devil's Kitchen and Waterfall Cove are all a fairly short drive away. The room itself was comfortable with a table and chairs, good bed, linens and towels. There was ample parking. Overall a great option for Port Arthur.
Very close to Port Arthur historical site in a quiet location
The villas are more large cabins than a real house. They are very comfortable though for 2 people plus one child. Has everything you need
