Great country environment with river in centre of tour to be enjoyed, various tourist attractions to meet different interests of visitors, great eateries especially The Federal Hotel and Murray Downs Country Club. Weather was perfect to enjoy outdoor activities. A gem for Central Victoria to be enjoyed by through traffic travellers and to catch up with family and friends in a central country oriented location of the state. Swan Hill is a well maintained, attractive town of significant size and industry. Lots of places to eat, a regional art gallery (currently being upgraded), picture theatre, taxis, the river, welcoming library. Swan Hill is great town and the development of the Pioneer Settlement is excellent. We did the River Cruise on the PYAP at sunset and the laster show afterwards - checking out the park before we left the next morning. Would recommend this to other travellers without hesitation.
