Set in Atherton, 300 metres from Curtain Fig National Park, Nightcap at Atherton Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

The staff from admin, to cleaning, to bar and restaurant were all sooooo friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our visit so enjoyable. The locals in the pub were fun and interesting and a joy to be with too. The location is walking distance to everything. I couldn't rate this place any higher - it is fantastic, and we cannot wait to come back!

We had a lovely stay at the Tinaroo Resort.

We had a lovely stay at the Tinaroo Resort. It was very peaceful and the lake is beautiful and it was lovely to be able to go for walks along the shore. We did a tour of the area taking in Yungaburra, where we had lunch at the hotel, very nice and staff very friendly. Spent the day at Herberton Village which is a must see. The Curtain Fig is magnificent. Malanda again lunch at the hotel, staff were very friendly. Lake Eacham was very picturesque. The Hypipamee National Park is worth a stop with The Crater and Dinner Falls. The wonderful thing is that they are all in close proximity and the scenery between each is beautiful!

The position of the cabins was fabulous.. right opposite the beautiful lake… perfect for morning and evening walks. I didn’t like all the construction taking place on site, 6 days per week. A big negative was the information provided by Booking.com stating ‘pets are allowed’. It turns out they are not permitted in the cabins which I think is very misleading.

Spectacular views from our "house" over Tinaroo lake. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was well equipped and clean. The bedrooms were nice and large and the sitting room comfortable. The resort is a short (15 - 20 min) ride from the cute villages near by like Yungaburra and Atherton and all in all a great base for exploring the Tablelands.

We had a lovely stay there, close to the tinaroo dam, able to use the kayaks and close to Atherton for dinners. Purchased breakfast foods from the best IGA and had little for lunch then a lovely dinner. Hosts were friendly and very informative and we learnt alot about the history of Tinaroo, thankyou
