The aviation museum was what I really wanted to see, and I wasn't disappointed. Well worth the drive. I was disappointed that there was no gliding to try, but that is only available on weekends, mainly during summer. The bakery in town has great coffee and pastries. Tocumwal is a pleasant town on the banks of the Murray River on the New South Wales side. It has a variety of dining options, other retail outlets and several hotels/motels. The tent was spacious, the bed was comfy, the 1950s style caravan bathroom was gorgeous and the outdoor kitchen was fun, yet functional. We had a wonderful time enjoying the peaceful seclusion of the area, and even managed to explore the water area with the pedal boat provided to guests. Fabulous looking golf course.
