The apartment had beautiful and comfortable furniture and all the mod cons such as dishwasher, airconditioning, washing machine, free wifi, microwave and stove with oven. It was very close to shops, eateries and walking tracks. Communication with the host was excellent. The Wangaratta Region has a lot of tourist attractions such as the Milawa Gourmet Drive, Glenrowan (Ned Kelly's last stand), the beautiful Warby Ranges, Eldorado (the Dredge), and Wang itself has beautiful heritage buildings, parks, the Ovens and King Rivers with trails and all the shops you can possibly think of.
Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Warby Cottage is located in Wangaratta. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

So private, quiet and peaceful. Quaint country cottage on the edge of a national park. Birds, kangaroos, horses, rabbits and more all around. Stars are so bright at night. So much better than a motel room. Suitable for 2 people. Good continental breakfast provided and cooking facilities. Comfortable bed.
Great location to base yourself. Easy travel to Beechworth, Milawa (Brown Brothers Winery). Some great restaurants and cafés, some lovely old buildings and churches.
We had a fantastic meal at Rinaldo’s and we enjoyed excellent coffee at Pauli's Cafe.

Wangaratta is a great place to stay and explore the beautiful Northern Victorian towns nearby, would highly recommend staying there. Eat at the Railway Hotel, good value, tasty meal with ice cold beer.

Wangaratta is large enough (about 30,000 people) to have high order services and facilities, but still has country town feel.
Central in the wine regions of King Valley, Alpine region, Milawa and Rutherglen, which are all within easy and pleasant drive away, Wangaratta is a clever spot for the wine aficionado to base themselves for a few days.

We came to Wangaratta earlier this year and had a wonderful stay and as we always go to Historic Winton I thought we might look foe accomodation here.
The motel was well located and we were happy with the unit but it was terribly cold. I know that it always is for that weekend in late May and that is why i popped some travel rugs into the car.
There is a lot to see and do in and around Wangaratta and some fabulous places to eat

The room was immaculately clean and the temperature was in the high 30's so we were delighted to discover the air conditioning had already cooled our room. We were also surprised and very grateful that breakfast of cereal and toast was included in the price. We had a great stay and will definitely stay again next time we are in Wangaratta.
