Set in Drouin and with Warragul Train Station reachable within 10 km, The Royal Hotel, Drouin offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

The location is great, easy access to both the train station and Drouin township. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Was a nice day so we sat on the balcony for a while and had a cuppa. The hotel is on a main road so plenty of traffic passing by, but it wasn't noisy at night and we slept well. We appreciated the additional pillows in the wardrobe. We stayed on a Sunday night and the bistro was quite busy but we managed to get a table for two as walk-ins. Recommend booking if there's a group of you. Meal was great, we both had garlic prawns and cocktails. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Manderley Park Farmstay B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Buln Buln, 11 km from Warragul Train Station.

A Hidden Gem – Truly One of the Best Farm Stays We've Experienced We recently spent three nights at Manderley Park Farmstay B&B with our two kids, and I can genuinely say it was one of the best farm stay experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and generosity — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel not just like guests, but like part of the family. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure every little detail is thought of, and their passion for what they do shines through in everything. The ambience of the farm is simply beautiful — peaceful, spacious, and filled with the kind of calm that lets you fully unwind and reconnect with nature. The kids loved exploring the property and being surrounded by animals and open space. A real highlight for us was the amazing breakfast each morning. Fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much care — it truly sets the tone for the day and is honestly one of the best we've had at any B&B. The surrounding area feels like a lost gem — lush rainforests, scenic drives, and so much natural beauty all around. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful food options in the Warragul area as well, which made our little getaway feel both adventurous and comforting at the same time. If you're looking for a stay that offers both relaxation and memorable experiences, with genuinely kind hosts and a stunning setting, Manderley Park is the place. We can’t wait to return.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Emus Nest by Tiny Away is set in Bulls Swamp. This holiday home has a garden.

Honesty everything, it's a piece of paradise in Gippsland. I hired both cabins on the lot out for my wedding for my bridesmaids and I to stay in- and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place. The cabins were cosy, warm and clean, very accommodating with extra chairs and tables available in a pinch. Of course the animals were super cute and lovely to watch while the sun goes down with a roaring fire.

Warragul is a friendly country town, roughly an hour and a half drive from Melbourne. The town centre is compact and has most things you would need. Plenty of cafes and places to eat. We ate at the Commercial Hotel which has great meals and friendly, helpful staff. I actually left my hotel pass card on the table and one of the staff raced after us to return it to me.

We had never been to Warragul before and we came for friends celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. We were able to do some local shopping and on the following morning go to a local café with friends for breakfast. We had travelled from central Victoria. Warragul is a beautiful city.

Warragul is a lovely town in the Gippsland area of Victoria. It has ample shopping opportunities and is well catered for in terms of supermarkets. It is located about one and half to two hours from Melbourne and the car trip is very straight forward on freeways.

As a Vegan animal lover, these places are hell on earth and it's all so matter of fact and cruelty hiding in plain sight. Shops close early, restaurants were average at best, people were not that friendly. I wouldn't live here if you gave me a free house, I would re-gift it to a homeless person that eats meat !!

Warragul has plenty of choices for restaurants clubs and shops. I even had a Thai massage which would have to be the best I’ve ever had. Went to a show at the Arts centre which was an excellent venue along with the show. We never got lost once getting around Warragul but have to watch trying to get across roads especially us elderlies. Would definitely go back..
