The location is great, easy access to both the train station and Drouin township. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Was a nice day so we sat on the balcony for a while and had a cuppa. The hotel is on a main road so plenty of traffic passing by, but it wasn't noisy at night and we slept well. We appreciated the additional pillows in the wardrobe. We stayed on a Sunday night and the bistro was quite busy but we managed to get a table for two as walk-ins. Recommend booking if there's a group of you. Meal was great, we both had garlic prawns and cocktails. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The kids loved exploring the property and being surrounded by animals and open space. A real highlight for us was the amazing breakfast each morning. Fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much care — it truly sets the tone for the day and is honestly one of the best we've had at any B&B. The surrounding area feels like a lost gem — lush rainforests, scenic drives, and so much natural beauty all around. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful food options in the Warragul area as well, which made our little getaway feel both adventurous and comforting at the same time. Honesty everything, it's a piece of paradise in Gippsland. I hired both cabins on the lot out for my wedding for my bridesmaids and I to stay in- and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place. The cabins were cosy, warm and clean, very accommodating with extra chairs and tables available in a pinch. Of course the animals were super cute and lovely to watch while the sun goes down with a roaring fire.
