So much to see and do. All the lovely little coastal towns on the way to the Seacliff Bridge. I loved the lighthouses. And the Mt Keira Lookout was so breathtaking. The promenade walkway.
We didn't get time to hit the shops, but that's another reason to go visit Wollongong again.

We visited the Art Gallery (certainly worth a look), the botanical gardens (superb), the Golf Club (excellent standard and just around the corner from the Sage Hotel), Stanwell Tops (wonderful hang gliding), Gerringong (a 40 minute drive away and well worth it), the Sea Cliff Bridge (an engineering masterpiece) and the Bulli Beach Cafe (stunning views of the ocean) and these all made for a wonderful visit.

Crown street, near our accommodation, was very dirty and neglected. Lots of closed and rundown buildings & shops.
We had fabulous Indian meal in "Crown Indian" at 316 Crown Street, Wollongong.

Only spent one night here but the town has a good feel. Went for a walk along the harbour front and watched all the families enjoying the summer evening. Had a fabulous meal at a Mediterranean restaurant in town.

Wollonggong is a nice place with good beaches, very good for family with kids. We particularly like that we can travel to the city with the free buses. There is a lot of good restaurants around the hotel and in the city.

This was our 4th stay here at the Argo. Everything at the apartments is excellent, even the car park is clean! The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The staff called and let us know the room was ready early if we needed it and on arrival we were given a complementary ocean view room. The location is perfect, 5 min walk to restaurants, shopping and the beach.
We will only ever stay here when we come to Wollongong!
