Very roomy clean apartment, quiet. Apartment complex well designed to suit old hotel. Live music at night. Sorry we missed the market. Had to adjust the date of stay at last minute. Staff were really helpful.

Yallingup Forest Resort is situated in a peaceful forest setting in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region.

We cleaned the entire lodge before we left. There are NO bins around the villa. We could not see where to put a little bag of rubbish. So we put it beside the bin in the house, fully closed. They then charged us $60 because we didn’t put the bag in the bin. But there are no signs within the lodge explaining where to put it. There are three lodges together and a central bin would be amazing for them and to save this issue. But clearly this is how they make money. I was also threatened that if I don’t pay it they were going to leave me bad reviews. Not knowing I have over 250k followers on socials so I explained I’m sure I could easily do the same but I won’t. We were with my two parents and my 11 year old daughter. We cleaned everything immaculate before we left. Also when we arrived, reception was closed and they couldn’t find our booking for half hour even when it was paid before arrival. Pity, because we stayed at the Spa retreat before and had a lovely time. But due to the way the staff spoke to me and then charged me $60 for a little carrier bag of rubbish that we had no idea where to put it. We won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend it either.

Featuring a range of suites with free WiFi, Lanterns Retreats is situated in the heart of old Dunsborough, within 10' minutes walk of beautiful beaches, coastal walks, cafes and galleries.

We were lucky to be upgraded to the king suite which was a lovely room with a private balcony over looking the beautiful gardens. The bed was large and very comfortable and there was even a small lounge area. Despite being on the first floor the shower water pressure was excellent and we enjoyed hot showers each morning in the spacious ensuite. The room was clean, private and quiet and only a 10/15 min walk into the centre of Dunsborough.

Quiet beauty, felt safe, vineyards, sea views and beaches, good food, nearby towns for all needs. Rental car likely essential to visit this area. Roads are good. Would love to visit this area again with more time.

    Loved the scenery.

Loved the scenery. Everything closed by 5pm so you need to make sure you’re eating/drinking/shopping early. We enjoyed Eagle Bay Brewery. Swings & roundabouts had a great wine selection/tasting. We arrived too late to enjoy the Sunday session & the vegan pizza was disappointing.

Always love spending a few days at Yallingup.

Always love spending a few days at Yallingup. The beaches are fantastic, fishing, snorkeling or diving, take your pick. National Park, go for a walk, try the Farm, artist galleries, it's something for everyone. Recommend the pastry shop and the general store, local/fresh produce.

Yallingup is so central to all the beautiful beaches and towns. Additionally there are so many Vineyards to explore. This would have to be the best place to set up camp and travel to the rest of the southern towns.

Great beach, Caves are also a must to visit.

Great beach, Caves are also a must to visit. Nice to be able to go to Caves House, or drive down to Dunsborough for more eating/food options, and a fine location to base yourself if wanting to go to some of the local wineries. We also tried the Goanna Bush Cafe which was about a 10 minute drive. Lovely food and service. Recommended.

Yallingup is a perfect escape from the City.

Yallingup is a perfect escape from the City. Lots of greenery, lots of birds and lots of fresh beautiful air. The beach is a stroll from the apartments. The balcony was just amazing. Yallingup is a short car ride away from fantastic scenery, eateries and activities. Yallingup is a gem hidden away from most huslte and bustle. A MUST stay holiday destination. There is nothing to avoid, it is all fantastic. Dunsborough is a short drive away, with every eatery that you could want. Lots of Caves and so many different ocean drives from Yallingup, 10 minute to 20 minutes by car. Yallingup Beach is a stroll away.

The venue was superb for the purpose of family of 6 adults with doggos to stay to attend a family wedding in the area. It was spacious in the living areas with a lot of seating inside and out, so we never felt overcrowded. Quality fencing to the outside area made it worry free to let the dogs roam in that area while we cooked meals on the large barbecue. Peaceful and pleasant location with plenty of dine out options without having to travel back into Yallingup.

We absolutely love staying at Seashells Yallingup! The apartments are so stylish and well equipped. We really appreciated being offered what we consider the best and most private apartment available being 314! Also the staff were lovely to deal with.

It's a lovely location, not far from either Smith's Beach or Yallingup Beach, and while only a few minutes from Dunsborough, feels pleasantly rural. Good size for a couple.
