Budget boutique hotel.in the city center.
The property has been recently refurbished and staff couldn't be more helpful.
Even though if next to a parking lot, it's very quiet.
This Aruba hotel features rooms with microwaves and refrigerators. The hotel is one miles from the Queen Beatrix International Airport and offers an outdoor pool and free WiFi in all areas.

Accommodation was nice, mostly updated, super clean smelling when we walked in! The owners have obviously gone to great efforts to make the space they have enjoyable. The dock/ beach area for example is nicely done. From the patios, to the lights at night, it's a really nice place to stay.
Don't let the airport proximity scare you, we really didn't hear much airport noise at all.
Contactless check in and check out is nice.....effortless.
The hosts even made us a reservation at the fish house (a highly rated restaurant), which is a nice place on the water in a marina about 200 m down the road.
Hostel Room Aruba, a property with a garden, is situated in Oranjestad, 700 metres from Surfside Beach, less than 1 km from Renaissance, as well as 2.9 km from Druif.

Our stay at this guesthouse was truly unique! The hostess was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. She gave us great tips on the best places to visit, which made our trip even more special. Every morning, she brought us breakfast right on time in a beautiful basket—a lovely touch that made us feel taken care of.
The guesthouse itself had a very special vibe, resembling a trailer park in the best way possible. It was charming, different, and full of character. If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary with a warm and personal touch, this is the place to be!

Great location, very clean and spacious rooms. The check in was very uncomplicated.

I stayed downtown because it was easy from the cruise ship and I only had 2 nights. I thought there would be more shopping and restaurants and such … but it was either super high end jewelry or tourist trinkets. Obviously most people go out to the resort hotels. For my purposes it was fine … my hotel was nice, with good facilities and I did a nice island tour. I would not stay there for longer than a night or two … but for that it was great.

Aruba has really nice spots: the beaches, and the dramatic surf at Arikok National Park. Oranjestad, though, is populated mostly by American tourists, and everything in the city (except the parliament, I guess) exists primarily for these people.

The local restaurants of downtown Oranjestad were excellent with reasonable prices relative to the NY/NJ area. These restaurants were a quick (10-15 mins) and safe walk from the Renaissance Wind Creek marina property. Among the best restaurants on Wilhelminastraat: Yemanja Woodfired Grill; Restaurant Anno 1877; Wilhelmina Restaurant; Taste My Aruba; El Gaucho. Caya was an amazing restaurant in the Palm Beach section a short cab ride ($15) from the Wind Creek marina. It's easy to access some good shopping in the marina resort and directly behind the property.

Oranjestad is central there are many things to do from there. Close to the airport, shopping area, the beach if you don't mind walking. It's not quite like the tourist area but it has its own flair. 1 bus ride can take you into that hustle and bustle then return to a more lighter side of vibes.

Oranjestad has a few nice areas for visitors with restaurants, bars and shopping. The water is spectacular! It's easy to get around by taxi or bus. Aruba is very breezy and the sun is hot - so lots of high quality sunscreen is a necessity along with a secure hat. We enjoyed happy hour and small plates at Cuba's Cookin' in the Renaissance Marketplace - try the mojitos!

Wonderful owner and fantastic personel!
Great service, very helpful, friendly and thoughtful people.
Great location, nice and clean and fresh, good breakfast, peaceful roof terrace.
I would definetly stay here again, reasonably priced good small hotel.
Service with a smile! Much appreciated after a long flight.
I felt very welcome and safe here.
I recommend Wonders Boutique Hotel without hesitation, where I felt welcome and comfortable from the moment I entered. Each room seemed to have a semi-private outdoor seating area around a lush beautiful courtyard with a pool at the center. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating.
Great location, walking distance from everything in Oranjestad. Friendly host, efficient AC, adequate kitchen amenities, lovely backyard with pool and sun chairs.
