The owner of the hotel was really nice. The hotel and the room were very clean and comfortable. It is well situated near the center of the city and close to the train station. It is also very close to the city of Ath (15 minutes by train). I recommend this hotel.

The hosts exude a lovely family atmosphere and make every effort to make their guests as comfortable as possible. It's a very nice place to stay but maybe not so much for older people (staircase is quite steep). For the very good breakfast you can express your wishes. You can lock your bicycle in a separate outbuilding. It's a very good location for e.g. roadbike tours through Flanders and the Walloon Region.

First of all, quality beds, nice shower, everything is clean and comfortable and it is nice to see that the hotel has actions to reduce carbon footprint. In addition, we were received very friendly by the staff. They were kind both at the reception as well as in the restaurant. Food was good, both the breakfast as well as the dinner.
