The town is set among beautiful mountain surroundings.
The town is set among beautiful mountain surroundings. It has a large cental pedestrianised area, which is lovely and chilled out. Within a 30-40 minute drive, there are some popular caves, of which Yagodinska is poorly managed so you may not be able to see the inside. Restaurants are somewhat hit and miss, even if you go for ones wth decent online ratings. As a rule, I would suggest selecting the local dishes, as they're less likely to go wrong.Guest review byMaria - Review score
Charming small town in the heart of the Rodopi mountain.
Charming small town in the heart of the Rodopi mountain. Great place for short or long holiday. Child friendly eco path Struilica. I don’t recommend the waterfall for small children unless you want to carry them on your back 20 min up the hill and same down. We made that mistake and the parents and the children had to skip the beauty of the remaining path which they could have easily walked. Nice swimming pool with hot mineral water at the beginning of the eco path. We ate at Royal restaurant- the prices were good and food was tasty. First of all, Devin has a unique culinary scenery.
First of all, Devin has a unique culinary scenery. Second, it's a perfect starting point for nature experiences - there are caves nearby including Devil's Throat Cave, in which is the highest subterranean waterfall on the Balkans and Yagodinska cave, which is 10 km long and is a home to 11 species of bats. Nearby is the Trigrad Gorge, which is a canyon with vertical marble rocks up to 400 m high. Pamporo ski resort is also not far away. GO to the Rodopa Mountain and you’ll fall in love with it! Devin is a perfect place (location-wise) to stay as a hub to visit all the places worth seeing. For a four-five day stay you can do short trips to almost all places on your “to do” list.Guest review byIvanBulgaria

The restaurant has been the best in the village. The present in the room with the complimentary fruit plate and the personalized message was a big surprise. Despite its size it did get warm quite quick inside so we didn't have any problems with cold as we've seen other people have written before.
