    Beautiful, well-kept, organized, safe!

    Beautiful, well-kept, organized, safe! Alcontilado is a must! The organization of the hike and vsit to the 9 waterfalls makes it easier. I was impressed that the way the trails had been enhanced with guardrails, steps and signs made it possible for people who may have been overweight, elderly or even with a physical disability to make the climb. Very inclusive!

    If you’re looking for an off the beaten path trip on Brazil. This country isn’t only about its beaches and the mountains are just as beautiful as the coast. Visconde de Mauá is the pegar distance from major cities like São Paulo yet it feels like a different world.

    I know Visc de Mauá since I was single and thst makes 30 years! We just love the nature and the kindness off the people who live there.If you are a sport and nature lover thats perfect for you! The food is great,fresh and the air is clean!

    You have to be prepared to change your plans due to bad weather. Reservations in the most fancy restaurants is a must. Lots of things to do during the day. Need a map or hire a local guide to the waterfalls, trekking routes and byke. Be careful to choose a horseride - only a few of the teams are really good and take care of safety and quality of the horses.

    a home away from home! the Chale is very cozy and very well equipped! A full kitchen and all the appliances came in very handy! We even stayed in one night to enjoy the nice weather on the porch and even toasted marshmallow on the fire place. Super clean and charming! Gil was a great host! It seems like it has been recently renovated! great linens and towels! We will definitely return! It’s just a few minutes from quiet downtown Visconde de Maua, and 20 minutes from Maringá.
