Walked in and knew it was going to be amazing. Welcoming drinks and a small cottage. After backpacking Guatamala this is heaven
Steps from the beach.. Booked an extra day. Little pricey for MY budget , but great value.. Literally 6 ft to the Caribbean

The resort is beautiful, no denying that!
Very clean and comfortable rooms (apart from the shower). They kindly provide drinking water, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Food options decent, however better food in neighbouring resorts or in Placencia Village.
Facing the beachfront in Placencia Village, Itz'ana Resort & Residences has a bar and a garden.

A blend of modern facilities with Colonial and Caribbean vibes, which make the place really beautiful. The rooms are spacious with a great terrace (ours overlooked the pool). The infinity pool is stunning, surrounded by palm trees and gardens with birds, gibnuts and iguanas roaming free. The beach area is great too. The whole place is quiet too which felt like we had the place just for us. Food was good, although it could have been better (see below).
Set in Placencia Village, Sandpiper Sanctuary 4 bed 3 bath Villa with a pool offers accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive.

The property was very nice and will be even better when the other villas are complete. The property manager was very responsive. The kitchen was very stocked with any type of utensils needed.

Ended our week in Belize with an amazing stay at Maya Beach.
Ended our week in Belize with an amazing stay at Maya Beach. Terrific rooms with incredible views and well appointed areas for relaxing. Added bonus: best food in Placencia is offered at the onsite restaurant- The Bistro. How nice to not have to look for places to eat. All the best food & drink was offered onsite. But we did love De Tatch in Placencia for breakfast!

Cute boutique resort hotel, great location, well kept grounds, very friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and we could have easily stayed for longer. We loved being able to sit on our porth and watch the sun rise, and the 40 steps to the water. It was very pretty. The food at the restaurant, which was always busy, was good. The kayaks & SauP to youse are great. We paddled to around the bay & over to the marina & found ourselves floating amongst a pod of dolphins. I’d 10/10 recommend this place and would stay again.

Loved the beach/sea front views.
Loved the beach/sea front views. We had a coffee maker and enjoyed the fresh morning coffee looking at the sea.
Local stores were less than 5 minutes away (on foot) so easy to stock if you didn't want to eat at restaurants all the time.
Loved the platform/pier on the water, the hammocks and the swings.
Very helpful staff. definitely recommend staying here.

The studio is very efficient and has just what you might need, including for basic cooking. The most important thing to note is that the bed is a full size, which is both narrower and shorter than a queen. There is a table inside with 2 chairs with backs, as well as a table outside with 2 chairs out side. Ample places to hang out near the unit or around the resort. We enjoyed all the amenities of the resort, including the restaurant which is renowned in the area. There were a handful of other restaurants, a grocery store, bakery and deli within our walking distance, though others may have thought it too far.

Very nice hotel, clean and with good services. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, everything we had was really well made - tasty, fresh and flavourful. The beach was beautiful and photogenic. The hotel also has hugely helpful and responsive staff who reacted very quickly to e-mails and helped us book wonderful tours. We had great time and enjoyed our stay very much.
I absolutely loved my stay here. Jenny the owner kindly upgraded my room to one with a kitchen which was fab, lovely pool overlooking the river, free bikes & kayaks to take out, room was spotless, I really can't fault it. You are in Maya Beach not Placencia, but dive shops will pick you up, and there are a few restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance :)
Fantastic place a little bit out of town. Clean and calm beach, ideal to chill out in the hammocks and treat yourself with good food and drinks from the hotel restaurant. Also very friendly and attentive staff.
The staff was great and the rooms are nice size, with a big shower and nice small kitchen.
The hotel has a restaurant that provides all meals - which is very comfortable
The hosts were accomodating, helpful and friendly. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The location was quiet but near all the Maya beach amenities.
