Host was very helpful. He checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. He followed up the next morning. The accommodations were basic although just what we needed. We got a good nights sleep, used the shared kitched and shower and watched YouTube. Wifi was available but we did not us it.

    I enjoyed having a clean room with a nice view of a courtyard. Accommodations were more than adequate for my needs and the host was very pleasant . Being right in the heart of downtown Amherst was great as I could walk to many local eateries and take a walk on scenic Victoria Street. Would book this room again.

    Amherst is wonderfully located for numerous day trips in central Nova Scotia - day trips along the Northumberland shore and along the Bay of Fundy are both easy. Not to be missed is the guided tour at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs. A stop at Deanne Fitzpatrick Studios should be a mandatory stop - the artistic rug hooking is awe-inspiring. The Art of Eating Deli and Duncan's Pub were my favorites for coffees/lunches and dinners, respectively.

    Amherst is a very interesting and historical town with several sites of interest (ie museums). The Armoury is a must see!!The stone buildings are beautiful. Enjoyed the shopping experience in the downtown core. People are very friendly. It's easy to get around.

    The staff were excellent very helpful. The breakfast included was one of the best I have stayed at many hotels usually the Hilton but I have to say this Super 8 was way better than the Hilton. Plenty of facilities pool, slide garden, spa very well equipped. Would stay there again.

    I didn't have any breakfast as I left early in the morning. The host was excellent and obviously enjoyed having guests. The accommodation was very good. The location was perfect for anyone visiting Amherst for a day or longer.

    The breakfast included had lots of options, the building was very quiet and staff was friendly. It was a good location for us. The pool was large for a hotel pool and had a hot tub and sauna as well. We found the room pretty clean.

    The location is superb, right in downtown Amherst. The room isn't fancy, but it is comfortable and very serviceable. Having a shared kitchen available for breakfasts and quick dinners was very useful.
