The heated floors and fireplace were appreciated, as the home was warm throughout our visit. Comfortable beds and a well-supplied kitchen made for a restful stay. Great value for what we paid.

We didn't spend any actual time in Canmore - it was more of a base for us. Our time was mostly spent in Banff & Lake Louise. You have to be prepared to drive after dinner in a dark and not-so-great highway amongst heavy long trucks. So if this is a problem for you, don't stay in Canmore, or simply have your dinners in Canmore. Canmore is an incredibly beautiful town with lots to do! From skating, skiing, hiking, and canyon exploring, there is so much outdoor winter activities for everyone! The town is fairly pedestrian- and bike-friendly and is easy to navigate. There are lots of great shops and restaurants to choose from, and hotels are decent too.
