We visited during Thanksgiving Holiday. There were a lot of picturesque decor downtown, amid a backdrop of fall colors. However, the restaurants close too early which makes it a little difficult for tourists wanting a decent dinner.Guest review byDavis - Review score
This was a nice little village with lots of still surviving...
This was a nice little village with lots of still surviving stone buildings on main street. Although there were several restaurants closed or take-out only due to COVID-19, we found a nice little Italian place named Gente where we had a lovely meal with wine. There was a nice well-curated used bookstore we enjoyed on the main street. We enjoyed a walk along the river, and driving through the nearby countryside.Guest review byKevinCanada

The heated floor in the bathroom was wonderful and the fireplace added to the coziness of the room. I would definitely book again if we were in Fergus in the future; it truly is a little gem right in the centre of town. Trish was very helpful with our check in, as well. The room is above a restaurant very close to downtown Fergus. Everything you need is close at hand. The room is well maintained and clean. Very nice washroom as well.Guest review byRColleyCanada
