The hotel is located within Jasper National Park, 8 km from the Jasper tramway. The hotel offers 2 on-site restaurants and a pub. Whistler's Inn features cable TV, and a coffee maker in every room.

Arrived after last visiting 11 years ago. So sad to see the devastation but more there than I thought still. Rebuilding in place and takes time. Hotel check in was amazing and also got a parking space. Sadly a coach of school children arrived early evening. Very loud and unruly. Staff didn’t seem to care. Banging doors, running along corridors and shouting. Eventually they went to bed only for staff to go knocking on doors at 7am to wake them all up again Along with everyone else in the hotel. Let the shouting and banging begin again. Worse night sleep if the trip so far. No slow release in any doors so banging happens in all of them. Maybe investing in some would help residents to have a more peaceful stay.

Offering free recreational amenities and an on-site restaurant, Jasper East Cabins is only 14 minutes’ walk from Athabasca River and overlooks the mountains. A kitchenette and free WiFi are available....

We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin. It was lovely. We do prefer the studio cabin when it's just the two of us. It was clean and exactly what we needed for a quiet couple nights in the mountains. The location to the brewery is great if you don't want to drive anywhere. There are no tvs in the cabin which is notable for some people.

Located in Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rockies, this resort offers canoeing, fishing, and hiking. It features a private beach, on-site dining, and rooms with gas fireplaces.

The location was terrific! It is in a perfect spot near the lake and mountains! Ideal for families and people in groups, perfect for events such as weddings, seminars and etc. We enjoyed the place even though it's the start of spring. We would definitely visit the place again in the summer, which I think would be more fun.

Wow! What a special stay. This is a gorgeous hotel, in stunning Jasper. We loved that the hotel provided ice skates for us to use on the frozen lake. Everyone was so accommodating. The outdoor pool was also a nice touch.

FAQs about hotels in Jasper

The Uplifting Power of Nature

Jasper sits in a green valley within a national park surrounded by the majestic Canadian Rockies. Water in its various forms has shaped the dramatic scenery and continues to create serene landscapes.

Tree-lined Lake Beauvert is the closest to town, but Pyramid and Patricia lakes are more famous thanks to the rugged peaks perfectly reflected in their still waters. Arguably the best of all is Maligne Lake whose incredible water colour is eclipsed by small, pine-lined Spirit Island. You may not know the name, but you’ll probably recognise the view.

Many glaciers come off the huge Columbia Icefield, roughly midway between Jasper and Lake Louise. Some have cut canyons where you can go ice walking. Other winter sports include ice skating and skiing at the Marmot Basin resort, named after local animals.

Bears inhabit the surrounding forests and more wildlife lives at The Den at Whistler Inn, just one Jasper accommodation option on Booking.com alongside mountain lodges and pet-friendly hotels with pools.

The Jasper Tramway – Canada’s highest cable car – goes to the top of The Whistlers mountain, and on the slopes of another are the Miette Hot Springs open-air pool.  The Jasper-Yellowhead Museum details the area’s history, and traditional Haida styles and colours are celebrated in the modern Two Brothers Totem Pole

One of the most beautiful places on earth, the National Park and icefields were incredible. What made it special though was the people. Almost to a person they were friendly, warm, hospitable, and helpful. A good selection of restaurants and food, and the locally brewed beer was a pleasant bonus.

Always go in winter time about a 1/10th of the people with all the good restaurants (Jasper pizza place, rub the bear statues head out front for good luck on the hill) trails, and marmot basin is very under utilized it’s like having your own private hill and mountain town of your very own.

Jasper used to be a beautiful tourist destination, much preferred to Banff as it is less crowded and is a regular town, not an overpriced and overcrowded tourist resort like Banff. Unfortunately the recent forest fire decimated a third of the town and a huge area of 32,700 hectares south and NE of it. All the well known trails and destinations- like Maligne canyon for example- have been burned, only Pyramid lake above Jasper are still green. One has to drive well over 30k south to find green forests again. The burned area of the city has been cleared from the buildings but the foundations and remains are there, fenced in. Quite a few business have closed due to the fire which claimed the homes of 2,500 people. There are more than plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops open though so unless you’ve been there before, you won’t notice. The atmosphere in town is what’s to be expected, one of deep sadness, fear for the future and anger against the federal government which failed the city, before, during and after the fire with their lack of necessary and timely action as well as their general indifference and ineptitude. I won’t lie, it was an extremely sad and depressing visit, yet I would visit again to support this wonderful place and people, as you can still enjoy the natural beauty, you just have to drive a little further.

Our hearts are with the people of Jasper who lost so much during the wildfire of 2024. We did our best to spend as much money as we could while we were there for the sake of the businesses and the people who work there. The town of Jasper is a jewel on the face of the Earth and I love it with all my heart

    Jasper national park was wonderful.

Jasper national park was wonderful. Devastation because of fires, but we wanted to go and support the locals. We saw Big Horn sheep! Stayed in log cabins. Ate in town and bought souvenirs and clothing. Lots of things not open as we were late in the season ( our choice) but, would Highly recommend to visitors.

Staff on phone and in person very helpful. They were understaffed at check in so wait was long, but the woman did her best and I complimented her. Need to have some updates with plugs, could not plug in the coffee maker in a convenient location, maybe install a couple more. Jasper is so beautiful and hotel is in a great location. Would come again.

Very affordable hotel in Jasper. It’s just ok for one or two nights. The only good thing is that it is not expensive. Our room was quiet. That’s a plus.
