We liked the Victorian design of the property and meticulous detail throughout the property. I personally appreciated the beautiful artwork on the walls and the magnificent marble sculpture in the lobby. The staff was very friendly. Convenient parking was a huge plus. Our room was conveniently located near an access door and faced the lovely park across the street. It was an easy walk to so many shops, cafes, and fine dining.
A restaurant and bar are featured at this Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel. Free WiFi is offered in all areas at this completely nonsmoking property.

It was super quiet which is exactly what we needed. Beautiful 10 minute drive to the main Niagara on the Lake strip which was perfect as we could still enjoy it but also have the quiet time we needed.
I had messaged them about things to do, places to eat etc and got some really good suggestions!
I look forward to returning!

We spent 2 days & 1 night in NOTL. The Niagara parks were stunning with spring flowers! The shops are quaint & we went to see "Tons of Money", which was hilarious! Wineries are always on our list & favourites are "Caroline Cellars" for lunch & wine purchases. "Byward Estate Winery" & "Fefox by Ries" were 2 new ones for us. The "One-Sixty" restaurant on Queen St. is a must, if you love pizza! "Old Town Country Landing" B&B was a repeat visit, & we are booked again in Summer 2025. It's a consistent10 out of 10, & Ellie is an informative & gracious host.

We were off season so less to do this time. We generally come during the summer months and take in a concert at Jackson triggs winery, see a show at the Shaw festival, eat in one of the many fabulous restaurants. Visit a winery or two and always walk up and down the Main Street stopping in the wonderful and unique boutiques. Love niagara on the lake!

Beautiful area of Ontario on Lake Erie. Qauint and quiet.
Beautiful area of Ontario on Lake Erie. Qauint and quiet. Even with the main strip on Queen st. busy with shoppers, you feel so far away from the city and back in Colonial Times with the beautiful architecture as your constant reminder of 1781. Americans fled to this area then, let's hope that doesn't happen again. This felt like a very safe area to visit as a solo female traveller. People were very friendly and open to discussing their highlights of this gem. Very cute shops with a ton of variety. Plenty of great places to catch lunch, or afternoon snack. I drove to NOTL and had zero issues navigating around. I have booked two more returns for this year as I felt one weekend stay was not enough to see and do all the things that interested me.

Home to the Shaw Festival, of one of North America's premier repertory theater companies, theater season brings thousands of visitors to the town in Summer months. Off-season, it's great for walks, dining, and enjoying the Edwardian English vibe the town is known for. Visit a winery, or go antiques shopping. Several decent brewpubs, including Niagara College's teaching restaurant, microbrewery and winery.

Lovely to stroll around, plus a walk down to lakeside with give lovely views across to Toronto in the distance.
We had a drink at the Prince of Wales Hotel, which was cosy and welcoming and ate at Aura on the Lake Indian restaurant, which was excellent

Super well kept historical house and excellent breakfast every day. We enjoyed talking about the house with Maria. Also loved the pre-breakfast scones and tea in the morning. It really felt like a vacation staying here. Yes, the house is older (it's history!) but it's also well kept with era-appropriate renovations, and super clean — cleaner than many hotels I've stayed at. We would recommend anyone visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake stay here!
They very nicely renovated the old hotel without losing it character. Way beter price value then the hotels in Niagara Falls or in the old town.
Breakfast is made freshly by the local chef and they were so sweet to bake a vegetarian quiche just for us.
White Oaks Inn conveniently located between Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. It situated close to the outlet mall. Breakfast was good. Gym facilities very hood.
