Auberge Schweizer offers accommodations in Sutton, 22 miles from Club de Golf du Vieux Village and 26 miles from Lake Carmi.

Small, family-owned inn on former farm on hillside. Lovely in winter, would be pretty in other seasons too. Friendly owners. Just outside town of Sutton, but still close to downhill and XC skiing, mountain biking, and restaurants. Clean rooms and public spaces, comfortable mattresses, plenty of hot water. Shared bathrooms with a sink in each room. Continental breakfast in reception hall: toast, cereal, fruit, coffee, and tea.

Located in West Brome, 13 miles from Club de Golf du Vieux Village, Auberge West Brome provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

A beautiful location in the Eastern Townships not far from skiing, shopping and restaurants. A car is a must. The Auberge has decent spa facilities and a lovely staff. The rooms are generous and quiet and have kitchenettes but no stove. A wonderful breakfast starts the day. A highlight was using the hot tub in sub zero temperatures.

It is a quaint little town hidden in the mountains. The people are super friendly and the food was excellent. There si a wide variety of restaurants. The attractions are nestled in the mountains and the countryside is beautiful. I highly recommend going there.

    Sutton is lovely.

Sutton is lovely. Very central for following all the Louise Penny “Inspector Gamache” sights in the Eastern Townships. The IGA is good for groceries if you prefer to eat in . SAQ has all the alcohol you’d want if the local breweries are not in your budget. The ski hills and wineries are everywhere. Found great shopping for clothing too. Lots of people riding the bike trails through the beautiful hills; looks so much like Vermont!

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is very close to Sutton ski hill and cross-country trails, and the town. Jay Peak was an easy 40-minute drive. The main dining area was well stocked with the basics for a help-yourself breakfast. (toast, yogurt, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea). Overall, a good experience.

Nice queen room! To note: (1) you are staying in the home of the owner, and it is first her space, and you are using her space. She is a good person. But if you are introverted and like your own space, it is not the right B&B. (2) It is about 15-20 mins to the nearest towns (Sutton, Knowlton).
