Hotel Zed from beginning to end was fantastic.
Atmosphere & property: great! there was a dj playing on saturday at Roar which made for a wonderful welcome to the property and while we sipped on some cocktails after checking in. Bike rentals available and/or short walk to the beach. Having both a restaurant and small coffee shop on site is such a wonderful bonus - everything you need is on the property and then some. I appreciate the efforts they've taken to reduce waste and take care of their community (coffee and cream/milk for your room are provided in reusable containers, portion of sales go to local Indigenous communities).
The room: spacious and comfortable. Shower pressure was good, bed was comfortable, decent sized mini fridge in the room was helpful for us.
This Tofino oceanfront resort is just steps from surfing access in the winter and skimboarding and paddleboarding in the summer. Free WiFi is included, and most accommodations feature a flat-screen...

Cabin was nicely set up. Close to beach.
Clean. Check in easy.
Tofino Resort + Marina is the ideal place to experience Tofino, Canada’s famous west coast surfing destination. Tofino is so much more than surfing though.

Located in downtown Tofino, the suites at Himwitsa Lodge have scenic views of the Clayoquot Sound. It features a fish shop and native art gallery on-site.

One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed in. The room was spacious and cozy. The two inside reclining chairs right by the balcony were a wonderful touch. The view of the harbor & the sunset were astounding.
On average, 3-star hotels in Tofino cost $157 per night, and 4-star hotels in Tofino are $184 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Tofino can be found for $159 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Expensive and small. The weather was terrible, but that is to be expected for the time of year and for being in a boreal rainforest. The views from the beaches are nothing short of breathtaking... even in the rain.
Rhino Cafe has the best donuts I have ever tasted, but you've gotta get there early as they are a busy spot.
You receive a 10% discount at the MAQ for staying at the Duffin Cove. However, the food was mediocre and not worth the price, even with the discount.

Tofino is a charming small town with a very pretty harbour.
Tofino is a charming small town with a very pretty harbour. Geared to tourist and outdoor adventurers there are lots of activities such as whale watching and sightseeing trips from the townsite, and world famous Pacific Rim beaches (surfing, walking, marveling at the combers rolling in) within easy reach. Not a shopping mecca but good grocery store and many boutique shops, art galleries etc.. Very peasant place to stroll around with relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Tofino is an ideal base to explore this beautiful area. Good restaurants, nice cafes, sea plane trips were amazing, bear-watching boat trip was also very memorable. Lovely walks from Tofino itself and up and down the pacific coast. Wolf in the Fog and Shelter good choices for dinner.

We rented e-bikes for a short time and road along some biking paths within the Pacific Rim Park. We had one of the best dinners at Shelter restaurant - food was delicious (mussels fettuccine, flat iron steak, and fruit crumble for desert). We also enjoyed breakfast/brunch in Ucluelet at Heartwood Kitchen.

Not first timer there, but always enjoy to get to Tofino.
Not first timer there, but always enjoy to get to Tofino. Saw changes over time, some very positive. Specially trails, signage, washrooms around popular beaches, bike lanes. It’s more crowded now for sure. But there is always limitless scenery to observe and enjoy by everyone. Drive is the only deterrent for us to get there. Interesting, but doing it for 5th or 6th time can be rather a chore. Will explore flying in option for next visit.

The location is fantastic overlooking the ocean with easy access to the beach. Lovely walks around the grounds of the hotel.
Very comfy communal area with plenty of seating inside and out to make the most of the wonderful views. Only took a couple of minutes to drive into Tofino for a good choice of restaurants and excursions.
All the staff were really friendly.
Nice continental breakfast offer. Loved the muffins and cookies available to go with the self service hot drinks bar available all day in the communal area, a really nice touch.
Great location that is no more than a 10 minute walk to everything in Tofino. Beautiful views from the hotel. The food at 1909 was okay, a little overpriced for what you get in my opinion though. Convenient and easy booking of excursions through the hotel. Laundry on site is great, but there’s only 1 washer and dryer so be prepared to wait for a turn.
This is the place to stay if you are going to Tofino. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had the best view of the ocean and can hear the waves at night, which is very soothing. Rooms are very comfortable, and I couldn't ask for anything better. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.
