Offering an indoor pool and a fitness center, Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel Windsor is located in Windsor, Canada. Free WiFi is included and the Detroit Windsor Tunnel is just 1.2 mi away.

Parking in the parking garage right behind the hotel was easy. It would be nice to have a small poster or something on the inside of the elevator telling you what things are on what floor so you know where to get off, like the restaurant or pool etc. It would have been really helpful as well to have any type of restaurant information in the room too. A menu, or hours or something. The cable was really bad. It was not even basic cable. The remote worked as slow as possible to navigate the maybe ten channels. One would work, the next channel wouldn’t and so on. No guide etc. It’s nice when having down time in a hotel to just flip around channels and relax. That was incredibly frustrating and definitely a deal breaker for me regarding staying in the hotel again. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were so small that it wasn’t enough for one person let alone two.

Providing an ideal location seconds from Caesars Windsor and the central Detroit area, this nonsmoking Windsor, Ontario hotel features stunning Detroit River skyline views.

Nice location with good views. We had paid extra for a river view. Our initial room had a view of a very unattractive alley with no water in sight. After showing the staff our reservation, they quickly accommodated us. We ended up with a wonderful river view room.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott is an extended-stay hotel in Windsor, Ontario. The Windsor-Detroit Tunnel and Ambassador Bridge to the US are both located within 10 minutes' drive.

Breakfast was always cold even in the warmers they were served in and even after it was immediately replaced (I jumped at the chance at hot food immediately after they refilled it and left the room). I'm thinking it sits in open air too long in the kitchen and that's when it loses it's heat.

Was not a good experience. The price did not reflect good value. I felt it was like an economy motel, not $250.00. Atmoshere was cold and uninviting, narrow hallways and funny layout of rooms. The floors were ice cold when we got into the room and it took about an hour to get somewhat heated up. On top of this, we had to pay $19.00 extra just for parking which was not on the your website. I hate complaning and haven’t in the past but this is becoming a habit. We stay in other hotels and have a great experience but lately, not with Booking.com

Listen, Windsor has taken a serious nose dive.

Listen, Windsor has taken a serious nose dive. Zombie like creatures, presumably drug addicts everywhere. I was going to attach my video of this for my review but opted not to. Don't listen to most politicians and downtown core advocates. Unless you're a teenager or young American looking to get drunk, NOBODY who has real options spends their time or Money in downtown windsor.

I have friends there so that's the reason I stay overnight, it's a border city so it's easy access to Detroit. it has a big Arab population so it is great Arabic food in many Arabic restaurants.

I found that there was a good variety of different types of cuisines available at different price ranges. The view of the Detroit skyline from Windsor along the Detroit River was impressive. The shore line facing Detroit boasts well maintained and landscaped areas with park benches to rest if needed to sit and enjoy the view.

We travelled to enjoy dinner at THE COOK SHOP, a restaurant my husband likes but we also enjoyed driving around some of the neighborhoods, especially little Italy. GREAT coffee and pastries at Gina Cafe & Bar. We would be regulars there. The coffee was terrific and the Pastries were extraordinary. The ambience was great too as was the service. Wish we lived closer. We visited Belle Isle on the way home and that was terrific too.

It has a very nice park area along the Detroit River, with many walking paths. Being across the river from Detroit a person has many opportunities to go to Detroit for sporting events, concerts or anything else one can think of.

I can't rate this motel higher because that wouldn't align with giving a 5 star hotel 10/10 but for what I expected of a cheap motel, I can't complain. It was clean, comfy bed and a good shower. WiFi worked, ample parking, good location if you have a car.

For $300 a night we expected a luxury hotel room. It was very comparable to a Best Western. Try adding robes, nicer showers, etc.
