The modern b-smart hotel Schönenwerd enjoys a central location between Aarau and Olten, a 5-minute drive from the centre of Aarau.

I picked this hotel due to the relative closeness to the A1 highway as I needed a short overnight sleep while driving across Europe. I arrived at 4 AM, yet I could check in without any issues or delays. My room was a decent one with some nice views to the nearby mountains, everything was clean and comfortable enough for an overnight stay and my dog was welcomed too. Also worth mentioning, they have a nice, huge private parking.

    Not in my nature, but I disliked about anything in this recent booking. 1) The hotel management only informed us about constructional works 24h upfront our arrival. The works had a huge impact on site exposure. 2) The two rooms had an extreme noisy airco 3) the sheets on the bed were winter bedding, extreme hot in the middle of summer creating discomfort 4) the breakfast was quite absent, no choice, no bacon and eggs, no meats... extremely poor 5) very poor hotel despite earlier read feedback... very poor

    I recently stayed at Hotel Bären Suhr and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers free parking, making it convenient for travelers with vehicles. Located in a peaceful area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. With its reasonable prices, it offers excellent value for money, especially for short stays. Although it's a bit outside the city, it's easily accessible by car. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Bären Suhr for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay.

    Amazing people, especially the owner. He spent a decent amount of time introducing the hotel and showing us around (know that we booked the cheapest room in the hotel) They also gave us a free upgrade which made the whole stay even better. The restaurant is wonderful too. Very tasty food and good selection of wine.

    The apartment is very nice and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Easy check-in and check-out. Very friendly and helpful owners. It is only 5 min. away from Aarau. it has free parking.
