The room was very dusty. Dust was flying in the air. This was quite disturbing. However, it was not a bright and spacious room as it appeared in the pictures. I did not expect such a low quality room despite such a high price in terms of price performance. The only good thing was that the hotel was located close to the train station.

Location close to Messeplatz and Claraplatz. Good accesd to tram 14 and bus 30. From Basel airport take Bus 50 to SBB and then Bus 30 from SBB to hotel. Basel card provided with all hotel stays, so free tram/bus travel to/from hotel if you have copy of your hotel reservation. Has a small fitness center. Minibar fridge drinks can be consumed with no charge (total of 8 drinks with 2 beers).
