Travelling on Bernina so needed somewhere close to train station. Great breakfast and good location. Beautiful view from bedroom window. Good shower and bed comfortable.

    I stayed in this city for 2 nights for the Bernina Express. I didn’t have much time to explore, but it’s a small, quiet, and lovely town. However, if you’re coming just to visit Chur, one night would be enough.

    We downloaded the Chur City Guide on our phone with the audio descriptions and it gave a great overview of the city and its history. The art gallery was very good and you get free entry with the Chur guest card provided by the hotel.

    Pleasant town with an interesting and picturesque old part.

    Pleasant town with an interesting and picturesque old part. Good for half day looking around. A cable car ride is an option too but it looks like it’s expensive, even if I could work out the pricing. Good for an overnight stay before or after taking the Bernini Express.

    We liked to old town

    We liked to old town We only tried one restaurant and to be honest it was an awkward experience because the food order was incorrect and when we pointed this out the manager became very aggressive and tried to blame us and/or talk over us. Feedback is clearly not welcomed unless it is fulsome and positive. OK except that less than perfect feedback is more useful to a business. The food was terribly overpriced for what it was, too.

    We could have done a couple of full days in Chur as we spent...

    We could have done a couple of full days in Chur as we spent one day at Pradasher skiing and tobogganing and we would have also liked to visit Brambruesch. We didn’t get the opportunity to walk around the old town of Chur which we would have liked to. Restaurants in the city were great.

    Chur is a wonderful little old town, it felt comfortable and safe.. extremely quiet.. everyone made you feel welcome in restaurants, museums and shops Spotlessly clean everywhere, no rubbish anywhere. Just loved everything about the place.. felt like home.. Great restaurant just at bottom near hotel, restaurant Calanda, a little bit overpriced but worth it, great service and food

    Room a bit oldschool but very comfortable to sleep. No air condition ! Breakfast was great. Price & Value is very good for Switzerland. Location is very central. You can get everywhere in Chur by foot.
