First and the foremost, I had planned to reach luzern in the evening and could check in only late at night (around 10pm) and had informed the property beforehand, however I was worried as to how to access the hotel because there wouldn’t be anyone at the reception but the property owner had done all the preparations and made the access really easy and autonomous, there was nothing to worry about!!
Secondly, the staff/manager were very polite and helpful. And the breakfast was splendid.
Thirdly, the room was sparklingly clean and the view from the balcony was just speechless.
Lastly, the hotel was worth it and I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone who likes nature, mountains and a peaceful ambience!!
Situated in Eigenthal, Chalet Murmeli features accommodation 16 km from Chapel Bridge and 45 km from Titlis Rotair Cable Car.

Little studio big enough for 2. Fabulous view that I'll never forget. Quite and calm place with only cow bells that you can hear. There are few walking paths and a walking path to mountain Pilatus. The place is really nice and comfortable, cosy.

Free English breakfast tea! We’ve been on trip through Italy & Switzerland and this was the first place that provided English tea & included in price, as well as having beautiful tap water! We were very grateful for both!

smooth check in. Nice room, bigger than orher hotel in Switzerland. Delicious breakfast.
Stay at the historic, half-timbered Hotel Rebstock dating from the 14th century, surrounded by a lot of contemporary art, where the people of Lucerne too enjoy wining and dining.

Nice and cozy hotel in a hold Fachrwerkhaus.
The building is well kept and rooms are recently renovated.
The position is strategic, just 10 minutes by walk far away from the train station.

The staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Best view, best position and delicious food in their restaurant. Short walk to Train station and the boats. Could seat on the balcony and soak the view’s of the Alps, lake and the Chapel walk. I stayed in different hotels during my 3 weeks travel in Europe and Hotel Des Alpes was the highlights of all. Highly recommend it.
