Spacious communal areas and gardens, super comfortable beds and rooms although a little sparsely decorated, interesting art, great facilities, super dog friendly and polite and efficient staff. The restaurant was fantastic: superb food, a highly entertaining waiter and a delicious breakfast too.

The owner of the hotel was super friendly and went way beyond necessary to give me a great stay. If I'm closeby again, I will definitively book the same hotel again.

It was good value for money. The room was big enough for our short stay. The building itself is a well maintained and charming inn typical of this part of the Alps. (Much to my liking)

The room was nice and clean and it was very close to the train station and grocery store (we were taking the Bernina Express train). The parking was in a garage next to the B&B and the price was 5 CHF.
I didn’t realise that it’s a bed&breakfast without breakfast included. I mean you could buy breakfast in the cafe/restaurant downstairs but I was suprised that it wasn’t included.

Sandra is an amazing host - going that extra mile to make your stay pleasant. We loved the place - it is furnished and decorated with love and such attention to detail. You do feel welcomed and taken care of.
I wasn’t aware that there was additional charge for sauna - my bad, I probably missed it in the description.
We loved the food - the portions were fair and with three course dinners we were hardly managing to eat if all. Sandra kindly offered a full story behind each dish (whether it was traditional Swiss, which region, if locally grown, home made)!
Sandra also mentioned the Tchapinna ski area which I recommend if you need to take it easy or have any beginners in your group (CHF36 ski pass which is great for Switzerland. Only ski lifts which is tiring after a while. Still a great day skiing just 10 min from Gasthause Alpina). 40km of piste but not as diverse and large as Flims Laax Falera where we preferred to spend most of our days (CHF90 per day).
A fantastic stay!
