Like: location excellent! Love it!! Would love to return. The room with balcony small but balcony large excellent. Views breath taken!! Martha the host very helpful. Answer all my questions. Breakfast, very good. Dislike: Breakfast, very good but in busiest times runned out of eggs, they missed topping up. The bed/mattress too soft and pillows very uncomfortable. ( room with large balcony) number 11 I also stayed in the room 15 ( large room without balcony) mattress was firmer and pillows were better.

The family-run Seehotel Riviera at Lake Lucerne is situated in the small bay of Gersau at Lake Lucerne, surrounded by a marvellous mountain scenery.

It was my 2nd time staying at this property with family. 1st time was in Aug. 2021 and my review is still (more or less) the same as the last time with few additions/subtractions: Breakfast. Friendly Staff. Location (just 12-15 km from Rigi, 40-45 mins drive to Mount Pilatus) View from Hotel is exceptional. Bus Stop right in front of Hotel (Bus No. 502 & 508) Ferry station right in front of Hotel There is a small store (Volg) just 3-4 mins walk from Hotel A few Restaurants/Pizzeria within walking distance from Hotel Last time there was a kids play area but now you can find toys for kids inside the family rooms

Right on the shore of Lake Lucerne, Hotel Seerausch in Beckenried offers panoramic lake and mountain views, a lakeside bar, and free WiFi.

Excellent location, close to the main road, about an hour from Lucerne and well connected to the public transport. Amazing lake / mountains views. Great staff, super helpful and friendly. Top service - breakfast was ok. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing escape!

    A lovely place, if a little quiet when we were there, access to the mountains and to the link.. Well worth a visit and you must go to the top of the mountain the village sits at the bottom of and onto the lake that borders the village

    This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of everyday life. Excellent views, choice of walks, close to the cog train to Mt Rigi as well as the ferry service. Ronnie and Bruno, both of whom run the in-house restaurant, are friendly, charming and entertaining. Both speak English well. Fully recommended.

    Well-maintained and good located apartment in small town Gersau, 2 streets from lake front, close to supermarket. Private parking place under carport. Complete kitchen with dishwasher, Nespresso and high quality cutlery and pans. Laundry possibilities. Very friendly hosts who provided coffee, made sure we were ok. Easy to get to many of the beautiful mountains and areas surrounding Luzern Lake. Felt like we were at home.

    We got an upgrade for our room and could use the Studio for the same price as the hotel room. The studio was bigger and included a kitchen and tv. It was very clean and comfortable, located at the centre of Gersau. both the owner and the staff where very friendly and helpfull. the breakfast at the hotel was very good and a good start off the day. Thanks Lilly for the friendly service and help!

    The view from this hotel is quite amazing. The room was decent size and beds were comfortable. It's an awesome experience to stay here and see how amazing it is to live in Switzerland on a house half-way up the side of a mountain.
