The free ride from Hotel to Airport was seamless.
The free ride from Hotel to Airport was seamless. The hotel provides a free ticked which can be used in the bus and train. Take Bus 50 from Basel Airport which takes you to the train station at Basel. Check the platform number. There is a direct service to Liestal or a train with 3 stops and you get off at the 4th. 5 minutes to hotel Engel. There wasn't a buffet available for breakfast, but the staff prepared a vegetarian option consisting of cheese board with jams and homemade fruit porridge which was great. A good selection of snacks, coffee and tea are available for the guests in the common area outside of the room.
