GermanyJimena and David are wonderful hosts who welcome you to their lodge just outside the village of Putre. They always took loving care of me. It's a great place to rest one's mind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Everything was spotlessly clean and Jimena lovingly prepared a fresh breakfast.

United KingdomStephan, the owner, was exceptional, possibly the most helpful host we’ve ever met. Providing detailed information of where to visit and how to explore. Bed was comfortable, with good bedding. Shower was the hottest and most powerful we’ve had during our 12weeks in South America. Breakfast was tasty and always served with a smile, with opportunities to ask more questions about the area.

It was clear they have a lot of experience in travelling and expertise about making tours in the mountains (they offer tours as well!). The location was great. The city of Putre gave us a good impression of the countryside. For fellow travellers: you should expect to organize and prepare yourself if you come to this region. Sceneries were amazing in this mountain town. Owner was great, helpful and welcoming. He certainly helped if needed help. Also he spoke English. Many people didn't speak English in Putre.
