Situated in the heart of Futian, Shenzhen’s commercial and retail hub, The Langham, Shenzhen conveys time-honoured traditions and luxury in the modern city.

Fantastic stay. Super comfortable rooms, excellent facilities (gym, pool, spa). All the staff were courteous and professional and good at what they do. The breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve seen, particularly liked the made to order Jian Bing! Also, Club lounge was delightful. Location was handy for metro (quick trip to Futian HS station, slightly longer but still quick to Futian /Lok Ma Chau Checkpoint). I hope to return!

Opposite Shenzhen Golf Club, JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen is an upscale setting centrally located along Shennan Boulevard, the thriving commercial area of Futian District.

Generally okay. However there are some minor things that made us feel like it was not up to international 5 star standards: - Our room was not ready by 15:00 as indicated - Executive lounge was underwhelming (eg, no refill of food for afternoon tea time) - Construction next door started at 5:30am on a SUNDAY morning which woke us up, no notification before booking or check in about this situation - Shower / bathroom smelled funny with a lack of ventilation, the room didn’t smell great either - Switches in the room were lit 247, hence the room was not blacked out while we sleep - The bathroom was totally different than the one indicated on booking.com - the TV was awkwardly placed on the side of the beds and sofa, could not really watch it comfortably

I found that this is a modern, comfortable hotel that generally offered a pleasant experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the decor was stylish and inviting, making for a comfortable home away from home. However, my experience with the lounge access left much to be desired. The lounge, while a nice concept, was not adequately equipped to cater to the number of guests. There simply weren’t enough tables, which made it difficult to find a place to sit, especially during peak hours. Additionally, the staffing levels were insufficient. On several occasions, I found myself looking for assistance but there was no staff member in sight. This lack of service was frustrating, particularly when I needed help or had questions. The food selection in the lounge was also disappointing. The variety was limited, and it didn’t meet the high standards set by the rest of the hotel. Overall, while the hotel itself was modern and comfortable, the lounge experience fell short. I hope they can address these issues in the future to enhance the overall guest experience.

Sparkling Chinese Metropolis

    My entire trip to ShenZhen was perfect. I liked everything. First, the zoo was super interactive, my son loved it. I highly recommend it. It's a perfect place for families. It has many attractions, parks and entertainment for children. As for shopping, there are plenty of options. The food is very good. I highly recommend it.

    Did not have time to go around too many places during my stay this time. Futian area where the hotel is was excellent. Local cuisine are always my favorite. Getting AliPay and Wechat pay work is a bit challenge for foreigner like me since we don't have local credit card and cell phone number. Nanto Ancient City is impressive.

    Vibrant city, and I could spend days walk through all the busy streets. The electronics market is something to marvel. The metro system is clean and very user friendly, even for foreign people. Shenzhen is my favorite city in mainland China!

    There are not too many things to do in Shenzhen and most of them are not free. If you like Chinese food - there is plenty. Shopping is good too. I had my personal interest and visiting Shenzhen not a first time. It is a short ride on subway to Shekou, where you can find lots of restaurants and some entertainment. Guangzhou is only 3-5 hours train ride and there you can find a lot of historical places. Fancy gambling? Ferry to Hong Kong or Macau... Very convenient location. Also there you can buy all sorts of electronics, good, bad, real or fake.

    Shenzhen is located very good to go around inner city and also to the nearby cities. It is a great city with diversity and very convenient to travel to Hong Kong, Macau, and Guanzhou, the Capital City of Canton Province.

    The hotel is at walking distance from Luohu check point, train station and subway station, however, there are a lot of stairs between them, it will be a challenge if you have a big / heavy suitcase. The staff in the restaurant are very nice even we arrived just half an hour before the service closed. The food in the restaurant is also good but at a high end pricing at Shenzhen standard. The breakfast offers a variety choices but the taste is average.

    The owner is very friendly and helpful; when I was struggling to find the hotel late at night he stayed on the phone with me to help, and he made extending my stay very easy. The facilities are very clean and comfortable, and you are provided with soap, house shoes and everything you could need. Overall I was surprised at the quality of service and amenities I received and I would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a cheap stay in Shenzhen .

    This was our best hotel during our 6-day trip. Classy, modern, with robots delivering meals. Staff were professional and kind; communication was smooth; and English was not a problem at all. Rooms are really big, beds are huge and comfy, and if you are lucky, you will have amazing night views of the city. It's cca 300m from the metro; restaurants are within walking distance. I recommend this hotel a lot; it felt we got value for the money we paid.
