We arrived during slow season when they were doing repairs to the roofs. Hence there were very few travelers. Arturo, the dueño, did all he could to make ourstay pleasant nonetheless. The swimming pool was a fine feature, with clear un-chlorinated water at ambient temperature. They cooked us a fine breakfast and made us an off-the-cuff dinner when we told them we didn’t wish to go out.

    Very comfortable and spacious apartment in a good location near the centre of Calarca. The host speaks great English and was very friendly and helpful. Good warm shower and very useful to have a basic kitchen to make food. There is a lovely waterfall which you can walk to about 6km away. I arrived on bike and there was a secure place to leave my bicycle. The host also helpfully washed my clothes for me for a small payment.

    We found a very clean and comfortable flat. With all the necessary to stay in Calarcá. Close by the Botanic Garden and the butterfly house, we just walked around 10 minutes. The host was always available to answer our queries in a courteous and friendly way. We highly recommend this place.
