The perfect base to explore Tayrona national park and one of our favourite places we’ve stayed in Colombia. Spacious, comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens, a great pool area and really good, reasonably priced food. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere convenient before and after Tayrona.

Best thing about this hotel are the staff - very friendly and helpful. They have a partnership with Girona Travel who you can organise day trips through. I would recommend filling your days with excursions as there is very little to do at the hotel.
The hotel rooms and general areas are kept clean.
Lizards, hummingbirds, parrot, cats & many insects make a unique jungle stay.
Offering a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace, Senda Casa Tayrona Los Naranjos is situated in Los Naranjos, 35 km from Santa Marta and a 5 minute drive from Tayrona park main entrance.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. From the moment we arrived, we were spellbound by the ocean view and all of the surroundings. The room was perfect and the pool was a welcome and refreshing relief after our long hike in Tayrona Park! The service was top knotch. Everyone said hello and went out of their way to help. We loved interacting with Diane. The sound of the waves soothed me to sleep. The food was great. The cocktails were the best we had during out three week trip! We even managed to get a drive from where the public bus dropped us off at the road. Hope to return some day to the gem of a hotel!

The location, pool and the view was amazing. There is plenty of common space to relax and the family dinners are great value. Dorms were spacious. Staff were very welcoming when we arrived. It was a sociable hostel but more chilled vibes rather than a focus on drinking etc.
With sea views, Finca Barlovento Cabaña, Tayrona is located in Los Naranjos and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.
Fantastic hotel tucked away from the busier tourist areas .
Fantastic hotel tucked away from the busier tourist areas .Very relaxing , car or taxi needed to visit restaurant's away from this area .
Swimming in the sea is not possible due to strong waves but the pool at the hotel was lovely .
We ate at the hotel most night and food and drinks were good value .
Highly recommended for a relaxing escape

Beaches are not as packed as they commonly are in Santa Marta during high seasons. Nice place to relax while being surrounded by beautiful nature. Of course, not everything is perfect, but you wouldn't expect that while visiting Latin America. As it is outside the city, it can be a bit hard to find good restaurants, so you might want to find a hostel with its own restaurant or book one with a kitchen to cook your meals.

The best hostal in Tayrona!!!
The best hostal in Tayrona!!! Great small cozy and confortable hostal in the middle of the nature with great views. The room was spacious with a great bed and a private bathroom, great view to the mountains and quiet in the night. I will definitely be back soon. Delicious coffee and pancakes for breakfast. Its 8 minutes walking from the road and 15 minutes walking to the beach los cocos.

Proximity to Tayrona really good - El Zaino entrance and walks. Other destinations a longer taxi ride (such as Minca) but all manageable.
Property itself is lovely. Immaculate, spacious and a very good food offering. Delightful service.
Nice pool and lots of space around to take in diffract views. Only negative is the weak shower pressure (cabana 1).
Easy drop down to beach and sea - and very atmospheric bar for sundowners.
Pretty much perfect

Liked: Came here in October 2021 and returned mainly because the place is absolutely beautiful. The view is stunning, you're in the middle of nature and wherever you look there are amazing birds or giant trees.
Disliked: During our five day stay, the water was cut three times and electricity went out twice (this didn't happen last year). Also, almost every night a noisy water leakage would start under the cabin and the last night there was a hydraulic motor-bomb malfunction nearby, very noisy as well. Every time I called the administration and they responded in good will, sometimes being able to help and sometimes not. But these issues are clearly the result of long-term poor management, and there is only so much the on-site staff can do.
Also, the hotel sells the idea of being able to offer good wi-fi: nothing could be further from the truth. Wi-fi is extremely unstable. You can go hours, even days without connection. So this is not a good place to go if you require a stable internet signal. I went with the idea of working remotely and had a negative experience in that department.
This said, it wasn't a horrible couple of days, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my next trip.

Los Naranjos is a great place of you want to visit the nearby Tayrona National Park. The main park entrance is just 3 km away. The area of the hotels is within a private property with access to private beaches and the Playa de los Angeles.

This hotel is a real treat. It lays directly in the jungle, but the beach is only 5 min walking distance via a private and beautiful trail.
We saw monkeys and parrots, while enjoying drinks at the pool, I had a nice massage and the views are amazing!
What made our stay even better was the staff. Everybody was super nice and helpful. But the best part of our stay was the food! This chef offered colombian food with great twists, as well as international food. Everything was fresh and tasteful, such as the drinks. We loved every bit of our stay!
The hotel room we stayed in was excellent - the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was massive, and there was plenty of space inside. There was also a lovely balcony with a hammock. The pool area was pleasant although we did not swim. Great location if you are going to el zaino entrance of Tayrona. You could also walk to the Los Angeles beach (reception give you an access card so you don't have to pay). Staff were lovely
The hotel is a bit further away from the park, if you take the colectivo it will take around 10mn.
It's super cute, super calm, and well managed.
We only stayed one night, but it was great.
You can pay by card too !
Yes, the water is cold, but if you've been traveling around Colombia for a bit, it won't be frightened you
Incredible location overlooking a beach with dramatic waves and nearby a river with a caiman reserve (they don’t appear near guests). Lovely pool, great food, fresh juices, and above all a warm, professional staff that goes out of their way to help. The hotel is 10 minutes by hotel transport to the park entrance. Perfect!
The location, just 5 minutes by car from Tayrona National Park entrance is a plus. The facilities are amazing, very nice and comfortable rooms, beautiful scenery, 5 minutes walk from Los Naranjos beach
