We fell in love with this wonderful posada. It was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed by city noises. Instead we listened to the rain in the afternoon and then in the morning we enjoyed listening to the birds, geese, and nature. The food was absolutely delicious: home made and organic!!! This is a self sustainable farm and everything we ate was either raised or harvested there. It was very easy to fall in love with and we would have stayed longer time permitting. We highly recommend and will definitely come back in the near future.
Boasting a garden, private pool and garden views, Finca la cristalina is situated in Moniquirá. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

Frederico and Maria proved to be excellent hosts. The accommodation is simple yet comfortable. We particularly enjoy watching the farm animals and the two macaws who freely fly within the property.
Frederico showed a genuine interest in guiding us to the waterfall.
And given the economical price, I could adapt to the lack of hot water.

Moniquira is a quaint little town, admittedly there aren't too many attractions on the town itself but what's great about it is all the beautiful places you can visit within walking distance from the town. There are a lot of waterfalls, hiking trails, farms and villas all offering incredible vistas, the weather isn't too hot nor too cold, it does rain often and the whole area is very tranquil.
